About this property
Feels Like Home Mountain Cabin on 40 acres
- Come enjoy the Rocky Mountains on 40 beautiful acres nestled among Ponderosa Pines, Blue Spruce and Aspen trees. Hike the ridge up to 8300 ft or relax on the large wrap around deck with wildlife all around. We have 2 cabins on our property; we may have guests staying in the other cabin during your stay. If you are interested in renting both cabins, you can review availability on our listing “2 Cabins on 40 acres”
Once you are here, check out many great attractions like the Florissant Fossil Beds or 11 Mile Canyon where you can go rock-climbing or fishing. We are only a 30 minute drive to Woodland Park and don't forget to take the drive up Pikes Peak and the North Pole. Enjoy hiking and exploring on the 40 acre property or go hiking, mountain biking or four wheeling in nearby Pike National Forest. You can also take the 45 minute drive to Canon City for great white water rafting.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please leave all used towels in the bathroom on the floors. You do not have to strip the bedding!
Please take ALL trash with you upon leaving and dump in the dumpster at the bottom of the driveway. Please respect our wildlife and pick up any of your litter outside as well.
Please do all your dishes upon leaving. You may start the dishwasher before leaving; we will put the clean dishes away when they are done washing!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Rules
Our driveway is 1/2 mile. 4x4 or AWD & chains are REQUIRED Oct-April due to snow/ice. If you get stuck, we will charge $500 for a tow "rescue"
Do not take anything from the cabin please.....tupperware, towels, etc
If you move any furniture including patio furniture, please put it back
