Would highly recommend! Location was great for local attractions, place was clean and had everything we needed to relax after a camping trip. Great privacy as well. Would stay there again!
The apartment was spacious and relaxing. Beautiful view of the mountains. The tub and shower were a blessing after a day of riding. Received good information about restaurants and points of interest in the area. We would stay there again if we are in the area.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Communication, location
Neat experience
The barn was as described in the listing, and the check out process was easy, without a long to do list. I did have to send a message for information to be able to get into the barn once my plane landed in Colorado (a few hours passed the check in time) and I realized I had never heard anything from the property manager. I book through VRBO often and that was a first for me. All in all it was a decent experience!
Property was beautiful just like the view. Our dinner-in due to incoming storm was accompanied by our own concert of a Bass Guitar and a Tuba. We listened through our movie, way beyond midnight. Wished we had received communication that this was going to happen the weekend that we stayed at the property. This long noise disturbance had diminished our thoughts about the property. If that could be solved or at least discussed may reconsider staying at property again. Other than that had a decent stay.
The property was clean, spacious and comfortable. The owner obviously has been thoughtful about the needs of the traveler in the arrangement and furnishing of the space. Parking and access to the unit were straightforward and easy, much appreciated since we arrived late in the evening. Was perfect home base for busy weekend of college activities.
I'll start with my favorites about this property. The view is to die for! I just loved catching glances of the mountains through the windows. The property was clean and perfect size for our family. The bathroom was spacious and stocked well. The laundry onsite was a big bonus while traveling. Overall, I loved the property. The downside had nothing to do with the property at all. It may have been an isolated incident, but I didn't feel safe in this area. There was very obvious gang activity going on nearby. We felt very uncomfortable at night, and the homeless population was something like I've never seen. During the day not so bad. We learned if you travel 10 min or so to eat it wasn't so scary. This is a good location to many tourist spots: Garden of the God's, Cave of the winds, Manitou Springs.
A short distance to downtown— close to restaurants, shopping, and a short drive to various sights.
Received check in/ out instructions a few days prior to arrival. There were detailed instructions to find the property, which is only accessed through an alleyway. The property had more detailed instructions for wifi, remotes, dining suggestions, etc. Fully furnished with little to do in order to check out.
One of the cleanest places we have ever have stayed. Owners didn’t spare any expenses while building this place. All in all great place. We loved it. Jimmy & Shawna 7-7-22
I loved everything about my stay here. Calm and relaxing. Loved the unique entrance, all the decor, from the kitchen stocked with the essentials to the comfy bedding and towels… practically spent every night in that awesome tub! It’s conveniently located and loved exploring the area. A must stay!!
Originally had planned on being just my husband and I but I couldn’t fathom not have my kids with me so we went ahead and brought them. There is sleeper couches and they were comfortable. Stairs and open railing so having a child with autism I was on edge but isn’t something that would keep me from revisiting. The house is beautiful. Cold but beautiful lol. Head the warnings the heaters are a different breed but once learned it’s not hard. Arriving it was really cold and after they were set the rest of the trip was fine. House has all the right things and the bed is phenomenal as the reviews also stated. Wifi works fine. The front door is interesting! It’s fun for a few days but living with it permanently I would have to decline as an exterior feature. But for the sake of a trip it’s pretty fancy. We always joke about knowing you have made it in life when your kitchen trash is in a drawer lol so if you can’t find the trash can look there. The towels are amazing I’d love to know where to purchase because my husband was in love! Aside from the house one thing I would suggest as a host is to include the most information on altitude sickness as you can for any tourists. As we rode the cog and there was zero info displayed online or announced. We luckily did our research but we saw a lot of travelers who were unaware of what to expect. So they have a packet that includes all the local amenities at the top of the stairs and I would just add it there for some helpful prevention. All around this is the second year in a row exact same time of year and same neighborhood we have visited and I highly recommend this location!
This place was amazing! Wish it was slightly cheaper or I'd stay here more! Had a little moms night out for Christmas and it was the perfect place for a couple moms to have some peace and quiet over a cocktail. The alley was a little sketchy at night but I felt safe in the barn. Definately will be saving up to visit again!
