Loved everything about this gem. Tim, the host/manager was a saint helping is with our questions and still having such a helpful , positive attitude . It’s not Ritz Carlton snooty patootie 5* but it’s a 5* wonderful experience .

Absolutely the best stay! The view was BEAUTIFUL! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The spa tub was the highlight! We ate at The Blue Moose Tavern, super friendly staff and delicious food! We will definitely stay again!

I loved staying at this property! Great Mountain View’s if you decide to spend a bit extra for it. I can say it is worth every penny. I stayed here for me and my wife honeymoon and we both were very pleased, we saw deers everywhere haha pretty cool and even saw some chipmunks! Local restaurants was awesome the food was amazing and great quality. Worth the trip!!

Very disappointed!! Not what pictutes shown. Small out dated coffee pot did not work. Dusty, no place to sit, othet than the bed. Shower was moldy. Not worth the money. We checked out 2 days early. DISAPPOINTED!!!

I love this place. Its quaint and beautiful amd the area cannot be beat. There are things about the facility that could be improved but the staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean, and a herd of deer visit every evening.

Magnificent stay!

Our stay was amazing! The jetted tub was so relaxing & the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! We had such a great sleep! The view was beautiful & It was sooo quiet & peaceful at night! Our check in & out was so easy & convenient as well! We will definitely be back to visit again!

Very clean and comfortable. Loved the bed. And there is a great tavern with great food 8 min walk down a trail with a creek that goes to a beautiful park with a pond. Views were wonderful. Great weekend get away.

Kudos to Caleb! The room itself was very clean inside with the exception of under the bed. Do not look under the bed! There is a small space heater for heat (as this is a historic hotel but not upgraded to include a furnace). The smoke detector was missing with wires hanging from the ceiling. The staff we encountered were very friendly. However , we did not have any hot water for one whole day. I called in the morning about the hot water issue but did not get a call back as promised. Later that afternoon I called back again. This time the maintenance man came to the room to evaluate the situation and was able to fix the problem. He was extremely kind. The tv was very large and is set only to Hulu unless you subscribe to something else. The mattress was not comfortable at all, but the sheets were very nice. There is a sweet little kitchenette with a big microwave and very nice coffeemaker; you'll need to bring your own grounds. If you are handicapped, this is probably not the best choice for you with many stairs. There's an option to load and unload from a walkway on the second level. This option is steep with gravel. We didn't have some of this important info until we received a welcome email and by then it was too late as the reservation was non refundable and this was during leaf peeping time. This email also stated that weed smoking was allowed in the rooms. My husband was worried it would smell, but it didn't at all. The nearby park and diner are exquisite.

Relaxing Mountain Respite

It was a great stay. The location and view from the balcony were lovely. The checkin was simple. Unfortunately the only sink is in the kitchenette in the main room with no hand soap and no hair dryer. It just made washing hands inconvenient. Otherwise it was a comfortable relaxing getaway to the mountains.

Cute place, great location and quiet. Unfortunately the bedding wasn’t clean and I made the staff aware afterwards however they did not respond with any kind of feedback or apology. Would stay here again but would request fresh bedding to be left in the room.

Very accommodating. Upgraded our room for free. Responded quickly. A safe place to stay. Very beautiful grounds. Dog bags for puppy. Very quiet and peaceful. Balcony connected to room, nice touch. Lots of windows. Free hulu. Room contained all kitchen amenities: big fridge, microwave, electric stove, sink. Very nice people. Food & drinksThey suggested local places to eat! Very highly rated places, we stopped at one called The Pantry.

Very cozy!

Very easy checkin and wonderfully accommodating ! Last minute accidental booking (wrong hotel) Worried when pulled up. Exterior was rough but room was very good, bed very comfortable and room was clean w/ warm fireplace heater and super cozy. Jacuzzi tub worked awesome , lots of hot water! Whoever worked late on 2/23 was amazing and very much appreciated ( forgot to get his name!). Scruffy and His owner Rick deserve a raise ! What a kind hardworking man . He has continental breakfast set up w waters and coffee. Plus doing remodeling I think overpriced but would consider staying if in the area again. Overall really nice stay.
