B&B in Columbia County

"Wow, this place is a complete sham . It's gross. It's worse than my early apts in NYC. I would say one step above a dorm and should not be charging more than $100 a night. SHAME ON YOU. We booked 2 nights at about $400 a night with taxes and fees. We did not even end up sleeping there. The moment we walked in we looked online and found another property, a beautiful 2 bedroom suite at Wm. Farmer & Sons for $299 a night. The value was not even comparable. A "suite" at Nautical Nest = a room with a chair and small bed Nespresso machine = broken Balcony = a step above a fire escape with 2 rusty chairs kitchen= college dormatory kitchenette that stinks and has a microwave and mini fridge NO lobby, No common space at all, no staff, no hospitality. I highly recommend choosing one of the many other charming hotels in Hudson unless you get a deal under $100 for this place."

"We stayed in room 213. There’s definitely missing the couch and the AC did not work properly. It was 79° in the room. I did inform the front desk. I’d check out. This is my second time at this beautiful hotel. "

"The room itself was clean, nicely furnished, and the beds were very comfortable. My only thing is that both the sink and the shower drain were incredibly slow. Also, nowhere to store your bags if you have a later train than their strict 11am checkout time. "

"The bar is amazing and the spa was to die for love, the neighborhood and love. The location I have been there nine times since they opened.That should tell you something"

"What a perfect place to spend time upstate! This is a great choice if you're looking to relax in a hot tub, see some chickens and pet a cat, or take in the calmness of the river. There are plenty of amenities, including a full kitchen (no oven but there's a hot plate, among other things). The staff is helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again! They also have a stand at the Hudson Farmers' Market on Saturdays where you can buy honey and sandwiches!"

"Not only nobody at all on site ever, but very few guests, so pretty creepy feel. Very dark room. Windows are filthy. Bag of Garbage outside our door since yesterday. Fan in bathroom is broken. No conditioner in the dispenser. Plug missing from drain. No light at all in the kitchen/living area. Can't use freezer due to frost buildup. Cold - bedroom and bathroom pure concrete floors and no extra blankets. Thermostat won't go above 65. And the worst was the baseboard heater going click click click all night long. Tried even turning the heat off or down so that it wouldn't be doing anything. Nothing worked. It kept me up all night. This place is a freakin’ disaster. You put a few cute pillows or throw rugs around to look on trend but it's just a little lipstick on a pig. Sorry. "

"Nice and convenient place to stay in Hudson. No elevator, so taking the luggage up a tall staircase was the only downside."
