"I'm house-hunting in Hudson, so my wife and I have stayed in a few other hotels and B&Bs there. However, one night in Pocketbook and I'll definitely continue booking there. I don't understand the complaints about the noise or rude staff, becauee we experienced the exact opposite. The staff were warm & welcoming, and very friendly. Overnight, it was peaceful and quiet. We stayed on a Saturday night and the hotel was booked out, but besides hearing some light noise above us the next day, it was...

"This was the perfect place to stay! We had easy access to parking on the street. The owner communicated with us about keyless entry into the building and our room. The building and our room were decorated with a classy style. We wish we had stayed longer."

"The location of the property was excellent! The room we had was clean. Two things that were not good- there is no real kitchen area,(or area to gather outside of our room) it is in a small hallway by the back door and does not have a freezer or ice available. Our air conditioner did not work properly and woke us up throughout the night."
