"We came here for stargazing because this area has a fairly dark sky on the dark sky maps, and it was cloudy and rainy the whole time — BUT!!! This home was wonderful, warm, cozy and comfortable. A terrific place to come back to after a rainy day hike. We watched movies, played games, completed jigsaw puzzles, all courtesy of the thoughtfulness of the home owner. A wonderful, charming home. "This house was wonderful! Clean, easy to find on GPS, even in the dark when we arrived and a very quiet location. The view was beautiful. We saw deer in the backyard and across the lake. We utilized the fire pit on a cool night and enjoyed s’mores with our family. The small touches were thoughtful-mini bottles of shampoo & conditioner, mini bars of soap, coffee available for the coffee maker. Beds were comfortable as well. If we’re ever back in this area, I would definitely stay here again. "

"This is a great cabin located in a nice private setting, with the ocean literally feet from the door. We enjoyed our stay. It was so relaxing and we got to see the full Hunter Moon rising right over the ocean. The cabin was clean and cozy, and the kitchen had everything you could need. We enjoyed day trips to Bar Harbor/Acadia, Schoodic Peninsula, Lubec and Campobello Island. I would rent this property again in a heartbeat. "
