  • SHORT TERM LEASES AVAILABLE IF NEEDED! SPARKLING CLEAN!! You will love your peaceful getaway at Piedmont Palace! Guests have a private entrance accessed through the back yard. Concierge service available for your luggage upon request until sidewalk is complete. Come relax on the patio and enjoy the fire pit. We are kid friendly and have a trampoline and swing in the back yard as well as a playground and basket ball court in our neighborhood just a few blocks away. We are located just 5 minutes from I-70 and 63 and less than a 10 minute drive to MIZZOU, University Hospital, and downtown. You will enjoy your stay and have the complete lower level of our home with your own entrance and keypad. We live upstairs but try to keep the noise to a minimum. Guests have access to a microwave, mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, and assorted glassware. The kitchenette is stocked with a wine opener, can opener, coffee cups, wine glasses, beer mugs, and silverware, so guests are able to prepare food and drinks. Piedmont Palace provides coffees, creamers, snacks, and drinks. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom with ample closet space, a ceiling fan, a tabletop fan, hangers, and a dresser. An ironing board and iron are available as well. Towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are available. There is a twin size bed, too! We also offer 2 BRAND NEW queen air Mattresses with built-in pumps. We offer extra bedding, as well. Cozy up in front of the fireplace with one of the many comfy throws while accessing Netflix and Disney+ on our flatscreen TV. Wi-Fi is available. This place was perfect for our trip to Columbia. Close to campus for the softball games we went to, to great food and parks. The food recommendations from the host were on point. Easy directions to get into the place and neighborhood was safe. Perfect for my daughter and I.

My sister and I have very few opportunities to be alone together with time to share our reminiscences, worries, and pleasures. This was such a perfect place for us. Besides all the conveniences and comforts, the decor was stunning. The owner replied quickly and pleasantly to all my questions.

Perfection on every aspect!

We were in town for Mom's weekend at Mizzou. This rental was the cleanest and nicest rental I have found in Columbia so far. The owner was amazing with communication as well. We felt very comfortable in the space. Every aspect was perfect. We will be back!

Pleasant Stay

We visited for a few days while moving our daughter into her dorm at MIZZOU. We found the apartment to be beautifully furnished and comfortable. The owner is very responsive and offered to assist in anyway possible. The location is on a quiet street with easy access to restaurants and retail. However, I would caution anyone with mobility issues to use care walking from the back gate to the property entrance. We arrived after dark and had to use the flashlights on our phones to pick our way down an unlighted, unpaved and slightly sloping part of the backyard to the door. I would strongly recommend that the owner consider adding paving stones and lights. As is typical of a basement apartment there may be early morning noise from upstairs. While we were fine with it, those sensitive to noise might find it a bit bothersome. There isn’t access to a washer and dryer so visitors staying longer than a few nights should take that into consideration. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Misrepresentation

The bed was SO COMFY!!! Thank for a couple great nights of sleep!It was very clean on the inside.But the ’kitchen’ that was advertised was a small mini bar. No room in the fridge for our food for the weekend.The listing does not mention ANYWHERE that you are in her basement and the only way to the basement is a very steep & muddy hill. No steps just some reassuring words to ‘walk carefully it has been snowy & rainy’. We got that news just before check in so even if we would have wanted to cancel at that point, we would have had to pay for the weekend.There was an outside swing however there was a massive puddle under it. There was a trampoline also strict rules not to use it however.We gave the owner a heads up that we we’re visiting our daughter that’s attending college let the owner know she may spend a night or 2 with us we were fully aware there may be an extra charge and we were fully aware we would need to square up upon check out …. The first night we stayed we were charged 300 more when we didn’t pay (because we had extra guests 1 night not for the entire stay like we were getting charged for) we were asked to checkout a day early. We did so. We followed all the regular Vrbo check out rules and left. We did not pay the extra 300! Buyer Be aware!!

Moms Weekend

Perfect stay for MU’s Moms Weekend. A little muddy walking to the back entrance due to all the rain recently, but they stated next month they are having a walkway poured so that will be fixed. This was our second stay here and would recommend
