"I haven't stayed in a traditional bed and breakfast for many years but the Showers Inn reminded me just how great they can be. The staff was incredible in reaching out beforehand, during checkin and throughout the stay. The room was wonderful. The made to order breakfast was incredible. Will definitely stay here again if I am ever in Bloomington again."

"This is a lovely and comfortable farmhouse turned into a B&B. We had a lovely room with en suite bathroom (claw foot tub with a shower). There is a beautiful parlor and a dining room with self-serve coffee, tea etc, breakfast (baked goods, boiled eggs) and snack foods and refrigerated beverages. "In town for IU graduation. Nice to be slightly out of Bloomington but close enough to get in. The name of the place was “Quiet” and it defiantly was that (except for the whippoorwills, which was awesome since we don’t really hear them where we live). Perfect way to get away. "

"My wife, Denise, and I loved the drive from Louisville (we were in the area for the Kentucky Derby (150th) to Salem, IN. The country roads were surrounded by natural beauty, rolling hills, and well-groomed ranches and farms. The Destination is better than the images show on their website. "As an introvert in town for the weekend to visit friends, I needed my own space to decompress. The facilities were great and I didn't need to interact with anyone the entire time I was here, which was ideal. Personal codes were provided beforehand for the exterior door and the interior door to my room, which made everything smooth."

"What a beautiful and well-appointed home. Large enough for our family of 5 adults, plus our dog! The expansive kitchen area and gorgeous (and huge!) island was the focal point of our graduation celebration, a time to enjoy each other in a serene setting and get to and from Bloomington very easily. "We had a group from Illinois, Ohio and Indiana. It had been years since we were all together and this was the perfect place. We used the canoe to enjoy the lake and had a great time sitting around the fire and catching up. Will def be back!"
