"We had a very quiet, peaceful two nights at River Retreat. Thoroughly labeled kitchen (and beyond) was well stocked for morning coffees on the beautiful deck overlooking the backyard and river. The beds were comfortable (a rarity) and the space was perfect for four adults. We enjoyed the gentle freeze and sound of the river, so close to town yet private and quiet. Dellene was easy to communicate with and very responsive to our needs."

"We had a very enjoyable stay at this home. Had everything we needed and close to everything! Some of our family came by and we enjoyed cooking out on the grill and watching bunnies, white squirrels and chipmunks playing around the yard!! Great place and would definitely go back!!"

"This house was easy to find. It had a nice secluded feel. The owners were very friendly and went above and beyond for us during an unexpected extended stay. The house was fully stocked for our needs. There are no tvs in the bedrooms, but we were ok with that. Overall great house and location. I would book it again."

"This was the perfect base camp for a few days of exploring around Asheville and Chimney Rock. We loved coming back to the relax on the front porch or by the stream and were very thankful to be able to add a third night to our original booking. We are in a road trip from Maine to Georgia, and the hot tub also made for a nice way to relax while on the road. As I write this review from a roadside hotel near Atlanta, I miss the quiet babble of the stream…"

"Check in process was easy and the property looked even nicer than the photos! The fire pit was a big hit. Everything we needed was there. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of comfy seating for 7 in front of the cozy fire as well as the big farm table for dining. "This is the third time we've stayed at this charming cabin with our dog. The location is great, a walk to Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville. The stone steps would not be good for someone unsure of their footing. The cabin is well laid out so it feels roomy and always spotlessly clean. There are two ample screened porches, front and back, so pup has a lot of room to roam around. Definitely recommend."
