The beautiful property was secluded with amazing access directly to the river. The house was beautifully decorated and suited our family of 4 nicely. The property was clean and easily accessible with the instructions provided. We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of outdoor entertainment for the kids. From axe throwing, trampoline and swings, there was something to keep my kiddos entertained. We enjoyed our stay!

Wow, what a nice and relaxing cabin, we enjoyed the large deck and the view of the river.The location is perfect, close to town with great shops and food options, but secluded and quiet.I would recommend to family and friends.

This is a fantastic getaway! It's exceptionally quiet and peaceful along the Tenn-Tom, and it's a little remote, but we thought that was a good thing! And yet, it's still only about 20-30 minutes from Columbus and Starkville, so it's easy to reach civilization if needed. Despite the remoteness, the property is extremely well-appointed and modern on the interior, with all the appliances and amenities you'd want, plus plenty of streaming options and strong Internet if you can't unplug completely. Our little pup also enjoyed exploring all around the property and she was very comfortable the whole time. We agreed that if we're ever back in the area, we are staying here again! Many thanks to Melissa for a lovely week's stay.

If you like hustle and bustle, then this place is not for you; Because you don’t hear anything but nature.It is Truly the best Vrbo ever! So peaceful, quiet and relaxing.. Totally surrounded by nature, with Birds singing, fish jumping, barges going by… Sunrise reflecting off river was astounding!Cabin was clean and comfy. Lacking nothing! Practically perfect! Plus it’s just minutes from Columbus.Melissa, the host, was always very attentive…We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely come back again.

Wow this place was amazing! Right on the river surrounded by nature! Close enough to downtown Columbus for shopping and restaurants but far enough away to feel secluded! Also, if you have a boat or trailer, there’s plenty of parking in the huge yard! Thanks for an amazing stay! Mike

Great spot. Pretty secluded so be ready to get off the beaten path. Clean, great bed, lot of fun with kids.

Cozy, quiet property, right on the Tombigbee. Wide view of the waterway. The place has everything you need to get rest, cook, or just relax. Definitely will want to go back.

Calm & quiet, clean, cozy, comfortable & absolutely charming! My husband & I enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with our college girls. Beautiful retreat for a family to enjoy time together. We can’t think of anything the cabin was missing.

We arrived to the most beautiful view of the river at sunset, and really enjoyed our stay. We were mostly running back-and-forth to campus, so we really didn’t get to enjoy the cabin as much as we would’ve liked. It was well appointed with comfortable beds, all the amenities, and a great deck with a beautiful view. We will definitely look to stay again for our next trip to Mississippi.

The cabin was very clean. It's a lovely cabin that I would highly recommend for a family relaxing weekend! We arrived late at night so it was very spooky driving down the dark lane, but it was also fun. The view was spectacular!!

Camp on the river

Both my wife & very much enjoyed our stay, what some may call a cabin, but being from south Louisiana, i call it a getaway camp. It was very clean, cozy, & comfortable! The nice quiet time of listening to the birds & just nature itself very was relaxing & watching the boats pass through was nice to see too! We also seen some deer not far from the entrance road which was cool to see during this time of year. I would definitely recommend this place to spend a nice & relaxing family weekend getaway!

River front cabin

I loved my stay at the cabin. The cabin had everything I needed. The view was stunning. Melissa was an excellent host. Her instructions were clear and concise. She was also helpful with finding some places around town that I was interested in. I would definitely come back and also recommend to my friends.

Amazing. Wow. One of our best trips ever. The river is amazing. We have seen nothing but wildlife and boats Very secluded. Very private. Huge barges, pontoons, fishing boats. Large amount of birds, fish, turtles, raccoons, deer, squirrels, possums, armadillos, coyotes, I dont think I ever saw this many cranes. In the morning we would see 5 fly by at a time - over and over.The breeze has been blowing upstream for 3 days (?). This morning it did stop and the river fogged over. This is a small cabin, but seems much larger bc of the porch and the space under the house. Its really only 20 minutes from Columbus but it seems like it’s on the Frontier or something. The cabin is really neat. Well built. Very well built. Spotless clean.
