"There was some confusion getting our correct room because of a discrepancy with Expedia but after it was solved the room we used was very nice and spacious for two people. The staff are very helpful and courteous especially at the front desk and restaurant. The food at the restaurant is very good. We were bummed that we didn't use all the amenities at the lodge because we were at Yosemite park most of the time. The lodge is very family friendly."

"The renovated/updated rooms with wood flooring are nice. Unknowingly I reserved the cheapest standard double without realizing it was still carpeted and desperately in need of an update. Fortunately the manager was able to move us into an updated room… for a $20 up charge."

"This cabin is one of the best ones we have been in and we go to Twain Hart once or twice a year. We will definitely go back. Saw alot of deer in the back yard, squirrels and a few woodpeckers fighting for peanuts! A fun and relaxing time all around!"

"We were 7 adults, two children and one well behaved dog and we stayed for 3 days in September. The house had space for us all. It was very clean, excellent Wi-Fi, great deck, lots of seats, amid a country setting. Gail, our host was very responsive by text. It is a short walk to the center of Twain-Harte. We all felt it was a great break in the woods compared with normal life. Highly recommended."

"On my way home from my stay at The Cabins and I had to write about my amazing experience! Liz was such a great and super responsive host who was able to get back to me with any questions I had about the place within minutes.The place itself was clean and we could tell it is up-kept regularly because everything was in perfect shape! The space was absolutely perfect for our weekend reunion and we were able to take advantage of the big yard and grill with the hot tub and sauna that were all in pretty good shape. Our group had nothing but glowing reviews across the board for the property. It was able to sleep everyone comfortably and we had more than enough room for all of our group activities and for people to also have time to themselves as well. I don’t even think I’d noticed that there was a downstairs den in the main cabin, so we were surprised to see that there was even more space than we thought when we got there!Very very happy with our stay for the weekend and hoping that we can stay again in the future!"

"The house was great and had the space we needed for our family reunion to hang out together inside and out. The location was great, we walked to town for some shopping, coffee, mini golf, and lunch. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep so we had to be careful especially carrying our luggage. I’m glad we had two main floor bedrooms for the older folks in our group. The owners were great. Check in and out was easy and the communication was great."
