"The house is not at all as it looks like in the pictures, It's old and it hasn't been maintained. Walls are dirty and with stains, doors are falling apart, toilets are old and floor, showers handles, fall when you use them.There are 4 TVs , and only one works. The house was not equipped, there were only 4 glasses when we got there, old and rusty knives, 1 pot, no washing soap. The garden was completely abandoned, we couldn't use it. "Great Well Run Hotel, Clean, Nice Room, Plenty of Towels and Central AC that worked very well. Even had an indoor pool. The location is only a 10 min wall to the RR Station and the Center Of Town. Great location to all the center of the city has, Restaurants, Shopping, and History"

"Amazing hotel! The staff was friendly, the lobby, room, and lounges were beautiful and clean. The room was amazing, including the bathroom. The views and location were incredible as well. Everything was conveniently located extremely close to the hotel. Oviedo turned out to be my favorite city I visited on my trip, and that was very surprising to me, and much of that was thanks to this hotel. I would love to come back to Oviedo and would 100% stay here again when I do!"

"Old cute hotel that is quaint. Staff was helpful and even provided us with eclipse glasses to watch the solar eclipse. Hotel is old so windows don’t insulate sound well. Floors are rickety and it’s easy to hear people in the hallway. Otherwise, beds were good and decent. Price was high likely due to solar eclipse frenzy."

"I travelled to the hotel on a motorcycle through mountain roads in the hope of seeing the total solar eclipse on 12th August. The place impressed from the start, Welcoming receptionist and an aesthetic vibe unlike anywhere I've stayed, and the room merited the superior' tag - with a sumptuous bathroom, offering an unprecedented (for me) shower experience. Wonderful after the effort of getting there. A multinational group of guests enhanced the sense of being somewhere very special. The view on arrival evening was sunny and sublime, but alas a change of wind direction, as forecast, resulted in us being enveloped in cloud almost all the following day, including during the eclipse. Breakfast was freshly prepared and provided a wonderful selection of savoury and sweet, including fresh fruits. A heavy cold confined me to the immediate vicinity after walking down into Villaviciosa for food and some drink as the bar service was closed due to the staff being limited on eclipse evening, but our in-room refrigerators were kindly stocked with drinks to compensate. I wish, on reflection, that I had stayed a third night, not only because of the cold symptoms, but because it was such a relaxing setting. Another year, also, I would not choose months other than August for visiting the area again. Visit again I will, though!"
