Beautiful villa with private heated pool, (heating available at an additional cost. 4 bedrooms with beds for up to 8 people. 2 bathrooms, living room, fully equipped independent kitchen. Outside, the villa benefits from a beautiful kidney shaped swimming pool which can be heated in spring and autumn at an additional cost. Please inquire for details. The swimming pool is surrounded by beautiful terraces and colorful gardens. The property has wifi, plenty of parking and a barbecue. The villa is within walking distance of 2 excellent bars/restaurants and a 30 minute walk (an absolutely stunning walk) or 5 minute drive to the village of Comares which has bars, restaurants, shops and banks.

One dog is allowed with prior permission from the host. There are non-refundable fees for your pet depending on the period of your stay. Please inquire for details.
A car is essential in this villa.

All of our villas are located in beautiful natural surroundings and quiet village areas. Therefore, these houses are ideal for the holidays of families and groups who seek and appreciate these characteristics. Please therefore note that the villas are not suitable and available for loud parties.

Monthly rents do not include electricity, gas cylinders or pellets for the pellet burner. Electricity is charged at 0.35 euro per unit/kw and gas cylinders and pellets can be purchased from your caretaker. PLEASE NOTE THIS APPLIES TO MONTHLY RENTALS ONLY.
Pool heating is available from 01 April to 15 November at an additional cost of 190 euros per week.

Cost of air conditioning: 30 euros per week is in place for your arrival, after that you pay for what you use. The average cost is 1 euro for 1 hour depending on the temperature set. Please note that air conditioning is only available in rooms.

You must pay a refundable damage deposit of €500 on arrival, which we ask to be paid in cash. (if this is not possible a pre-authorization by card can be accepted). You will be refunded within 7 days of your departure. This cannot be done on the day of your departure, as many guests leave the houses/apartments on the same day. Please ensure our office or your caretaker has your bank details in order to return the deposit. Thanks

Sehr gepflegt und sauberes Anwesen. Es waren alle versprochenen elektrischen Geräte vorhanden. Sogar ein vernünftiger Föhn gehört zur Ausstattung. Alles funktionierte einwandfrei. Die Angestellten sind außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit.Ein toller Startpunkt für Ausflüge.Lediglich ein paar Schritte entfernt befinden sich zwei schöne Lokale.Uns hat es häufig ins Molino gezogen. Wir würden unseren Urlaub immer wieder dort verbringen.

The Mountain Villa

Right, if you do not like heights be careful it is roughly 2000ft above sea level. If you are not a competent driver be careful the roads surrounding this property are dangerous and if you use a satnav do not use shortest route as a lot of it will be on dirt roads. For some reason someone has taken the pictures of this villa with a wide angled lens as I was not buying it I could not understand how making it look bigger would really appeal to me. The pictures were also taken some 10 years ago, the property is not dated as such but it has seen a lot of foot traffic. The pool is certainly not as big as it looks, possible 8/9 meters, but the surrounding area is not child friendly as a lot of the concrete pieces are crumbling away. The whole outer area is surrounded in trees and shrubs which are beautiful but if you suffer with hayfever, you will need a lot of tablets. You will also need to sweep up the pool area daily as all of the foliage sheds in the wind. Dragging the plastic off and on the pool daily is a bit of a pain to say the least. The drive is also not as big as it looks so if you have a 4x4 that is needed for the mountains you will catch it trying to get in and out. It might sleep 8 small people but the BBQ and crockery are set up for four at most. The neighbouring dogs bark most of the day and night. This is only my opinion after spending 2 weeks there it was nice but realistic pictures and a note about the roads would’ve been a help.

Geweldig

Een heerlijk ruim huis op een geweldige plek. Fijn zwembad die we hadden laten verwarmen. Aan het eind van de weg 2 restaurants waar je heerlijk kan eten! Veel mogelijkheden om te wandelen in de buurt! Malaga op een uur rijden! We gaan graag nog een keer terug!

Great property and area

The property was exactly as listed. The company were so throughout and thoughtful. The area has lots of great amenities, restaurants, shops and bars. We never had to leave Comares. The rooms were big and airy, the pool was a perfect size and cleaned 3 times in our short stay. We decided not to have it heated, which was perfect for the 30degree heat. The apartment had everything we needed. The communication between the host and ourselves was great. The company also sent us a list of everything in our surrounding area, it was very useful and exact...we visited most of the bars and restaurants. Our dog was welcome everywhere...if you are planning on bringing yours. There was also enough shade in the house for him. He wasn't allowed in the pool...but that didn't matter .

Super vacation in well located Villa

Super service from the property management adapting to our arrival and departure wishes - and checking regularly for any queries we might have. Cleaning and checking the pool 3 times during the stay. We were 5 and had plenty of space; I think the villa should be rated for 8 guests instead of the 10 mentioned. In this small village close to Comares there are 2 nice restaurants 170 m from Villa Torcal 3 so easy dine - out possibilities

Family holiday in May half term

We stayed at this property for the first time and we will definitely be back. Its tucked up a mountain road an hour from Malaga, you have to take your time. There are teo restaurants near the property in 5 mins walk. One is a Spanish family and the other is Dutch. Both provided good food and were lovely. The house was everything we needed, no concerns. Beautiful setting. We drove up to Comares which was so beautiful, bought some local olive oil. We also went to Torre de Mar beach. The sun sets are lovely x What a hidden gem.

Weeks break with family

Need to update photos to reflect age of villa Dogs barking all night from neighbours Need instructions for using appliances in kitchen No safety signs or markers around the pool to state depth Flies everywhere making eating meals and preparing difficult Only one pan to cook with due to others not suitable due to hob Only one oven tray Not great when cooking for 6 adults Due to nearest supermarket or shop being 6 Kilometres away would of been helpful to have a message before arriving to get bread milk coffee etc as nothing nearby and Comares shop closed Lovely local restaurant bar Table Mountain really helpful and friendly owner Comares is a lovely historical place to visit only 6kms away but unsafe to walk to. 50 minutes away from Torre del mer beaches bars and shopping centre Narrow winding road Hairpin bands Hilly as Comares sits at top of mountain area Plenty of sun beds (8) at villa Both guys arrived on different days to clean pool and check in with me and to collect money for heating the pool €190 Damaged to patio area pool areas due to age of floors made it dangerous for walking on especially for our 3 year old grandson Good points are space for us all inside villa Bedroom and bedrooms comfortable clean with enough towels for us all Great having washing machine as needed to wash our swimming wear 👍 Thunderstorm knocked out electricity so unable to cook or make drinks Unable to eat out as restaurants unable to serve food or drinks

Good enough property

Good enough property stayed 4 weeks but a little to. Adventurous going round the bender roads took us half an hour up and the same coming down , but we liked out everywhere every day.

Remote holiday

The property lived up to expectations with just a couple of improvements would be fantastic. The beds were really hard and the pillows are just one long pillow for a double bed so did not manage a good night sleep all holiday,I did try contacting the property management but they did not reply just a couple of individual pillows would make all the difference.There are two bars close by that served food that we ate in a lot of the time food was very good and the price was fantastic people very friendly over all if you want a quite holiday this could be the place for you

Peaceful and scenic

The villa was just as described. The pool was big enough for us 4 adults and 1 teen to cool off and play ball in. Fabulous views from the balcony overlooking olive groves on the hills. Within a few hundred metres of a lovely family owned restaurant with pool table where we spent most nights. Lovely food !

Maison calme et agréable

Maison calme et agréable dans un petit hameau sympa avec un restaurant et un bar à proximité. Le village à 2 Km est très beau, vue imprenable.
