"The cottage was spacious, clean and in a great location! A short walk over the bridge to enjoy the beach or stay at the cottage and sit at the water on a beautiful deck and read a book! We took the kayaks out and did a little tour of the canal. It was a great weekend and we all said we would definitely go back!"

"Dominique and Paul are great hosts, as one would expect from people with years of experience in the hospitality industry. Staying with them is reminiscent of visiting a distant relative. They are attentive, polite and helpful without being intrusive. Guests will appreciate the small things, such as the deluxe soap, abundant towels, complimentary bottled water, well decorated rooms and pride that their century home exudes. And, to top it off, they have a select menu of thoughtfully prepared food available. I was quite pleased with the Portuguese-style breakfast and fantastic espresso provided for a reasonable sum. Leamington also offers an atmospheric downtown (I did visit on a Friday night) as well as a beach and waterfront park well worth exploring. Whether you are passing through or using it as a base to explore the region, this is an excellent choice."

"We were there to bird. We had a few days of bad weather and hole up in the houz. It was so comfy. I don’t think I’ve weathered out storms in more comfortable digs. Nights were dark and quiet, making for sound sleep. The kitchen was well equipped and meal prep was easy."
