"A lovely little stay in the Cambridgeshire countryside. It's pretty basic but once you've got the heater going, it's lovely. A beautiful lake to look out onto with parking next to you, it's pretty decent. "

"Drake Cottage is a delightful place to stay. It’s (really) old and beautifully renovated with lots of great touches for guests. It’s very close to the centre of Saffron Walden but quiet.would love to come back. "

"Really nice cottage style property with a log burner and really comfy beds. Only warning would be the stairs as they're pretty steep and the bathroom is downstairs if you need to get up in the middle of the night."

"Lovely comfortable cottage, well equipped in pretty village. Nice pub (Dog & Duck) within walking distance, good food and range of beers, plus lovely coffee shop close by. Recommended."

"Beautiful cottage situated on a stunning location. Made very welcome by Julie and Tilly who can't do enough for you. Would definitely recommend especially if you like your golf or fishing"

"Overall the property is lovely, not fancy but very clean and well equiped. Our main issue was an error on your listing stating that 3rd bedroom was 2 beds..incorrect. The host solved the issue for us by providing a pull out bed. So all was good."

"Helen and Alex, the owners, have literally thought of everything a guest might need...and made it available most generously. The location in the old part of the town happens to be perfect. To greet us there was a hamper with the basics tea, coffee etc but also all the ingredients for a full English breakfast. The bathroom was very well stocked, the bedrooms very comfortable, there is a little library of books, all you need for a barbeque and even 2 bicycles offered. We just kept finding things...

"We had a fabulous week staying in Pam's Plaice. It's a charming house, very clean, & really nicely decorated and appointed. We were given lots of info prior to the holiday & warmly welcomed. The mature garden is beautiful and the conservatory is a fab additional space in which to spend time. It has loads of really good quality kitchen equipment, serving dishes etc. You could tell that dogs were genuinely welcome but as it was so clean & fresh there was no hint of dogginess or animal wear &...

"A beautiful, welcoming, clean and airy hotel, with an abundance of facilities, including a pool and spa facilities. It came recommended to us by my friend, who visits it regularly. All the staff members were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and catered for vegan and gluten free well. The location was a distance from town but it was situated next to the train station (Cambridge North) and buses outside the entrance. The parking was plentiful - the station car park run privately, that backs onto the hotel. It can be paid for online, when you park. "
