"First off the good: ...the place is beautiful. The rooms are luxurious. We had a 3rd floor room and the stunningly high ceilings and almost floor to ceiling windows gave a great show during an intense thunder storm. There are train tracks right outside the window that slow moving trains regularly pass but (not loud but you hear them at night). It says parking is $25 dollars but that to valet and you can choose to self park right outside the hotel in the valet lot The less than ideal: The walls are super thin. We can detail our next door neighbors issues with the bridesmaid if asked and we heard the TV on all night. The location is removed from downtown Athens so you'll need to drive to go anywhere. The Bad... The $150 deposit for incidentals was held for 7 days before being returned. This is such a frustrating thing considering there is no real reason for the delay once they have cleaned your room and noticed there is nothing missing or charges to the room. When checking in we were told they hold the deposit for 1-2 days. When I called the hotel 6 days later asking about I was first given a the run around until finally talking to someone who said there is a 5-7 business day hold. Again for no reason."
