"We never received the entry code for the property and could not get in so we had no where to stay. Expedia could not get a hold of the host so the reservation was cancelled leaving us stranded! I had my 91 year old father with me in the heat and it was terrible. I will not book a place this way again. Very bad experience."

I-30 makes getting into many of the best parts of Dallas easy, but you're in a rural setting where you can enjoy some breathing room. "Our family stayed here for 5 nights to watch the solar eclipse, and it was absolutely fantastic! Justin and Stacy were wonderful hosts, very responsive to message communications leading up to the stay, and they ensured we had everything we needed, including leaving us farm fresh eggs and coffee.
