"My girlfriend and I always stay in the Lexington area when we visit my family in South Carolina. We tried this hotel this year as the ratings looked really good! It's not a horrible hotel by any means, but it wasn't that good either. There where some fixtures broken in the hallway and you could really tell this was another hotel at one time and they painted over everything and put in some new furniture. The breakfast was not good at all. I forgot what we paid for the place but it was around 110-130 a night...not worth it for what we get at the Home2suites in Keeneland!!!"

"We had issues with check-in. We checked in at 9 pm and then was subsequently charged a late check-in. Around 11:30 pm we had another guest walk into our room. The next day upon returning to my room, our room keys had been deactivated. Didn’t find out until we were at our room around 10:30 pm. We returned to the desk and got them fixed. We were told that they had us in another. The next morning is when I got charged the late fee. It was all taken care of at checkout but it was a very frustrating weekend. "

"The stay was enjoyable, the staff was very friendly and accomodating, the room could have been cleaner, there were stains and peeling paint on the ceiling in the bathroom, there was something that had run out of a vent on the bathroom wall leaving a white stain on the wall, the air conditioner unit was extremely loud when operating. Given the cost of the stay, I would expect these minor things to have been corrected prior the guest arrival."

"The airport shuttle did not exist. The room was clean and the stay was adequate."

"I believe the property has a lot of potential. I was told the new owners had only required the property two weeks earlier. My man issue is I had no tv. I really like to veg in the room with the tv when on vacation and had I known there was no tv, I would have likely booked elsewhere. Was told by staff that cable was supposed to be installed on my second day, but no luck. Had a total of four channels on the regular antenna. Staff is great. Everyone was friendly, pool area was clean, gym was clean (wish they had a water fountain in there), restaurant/bar was clean and the food was very good. Overall, I can see the new owners improve this property turning it into a great little gem outside Lexington. I’ll definitely look to stay here again my next visit. "

"Staff was exceptional especially the front desk lady who was so polite and helpful. Hotel and room was clean. The kids loved the pool and breakfast was good as well. I highly recommend this hotel in Hamburg Lexington KY. Next trip back this way I’ll be staying again no question."
