"Good location, clean, staff ok. I say ok as one male behind the desk ignored me while taking a call. Stood there so long had to go sit down. Less than cordial. I had already paid for room, dropped my bags, then went out as room was not ready which was fine. They put my bags in the room but never gave me a key, stood there waiting like a fool at the desk for way too long, then no apology. Oh well, not sure I’d stay there again. "

"Well located easy walking distance to lots of sights and public transport. Unfortunately it is located on a very busy road so the noise is constant, you definitely need earplugs to sleep. "

"What a fabulous find this hotel is! I’ve stayed in lots of places in Rome over the past 20 years and I decided on Trastevere this time around as I wanted a calm vibe as my mum was with me. The Una Esperienze was just…perfect! From the moment we arrived, we appreciated the friendliness of the reception team (big up Sofia and Manuela) and how beautifully clean and maintained the hotel and our room was. I would recommend to all and hope I can return at some time. Towels changed every day! Only one small bit of feedback, the roof terrace was disappointing. We arrived, dropped bags and headed up with our books - excited for a few aperols and a sunset! Sadly, we were left standing awkwardly (just 2 tables in the roof terrace bar at the time) and were ignored for about 5 minutes with no welcome. We eventually sat ourselves at a table and the drinks menu arrived (a little begrudgingly, I felt) about 3 minutes after. We ordered and drinks turned up fast enough and we enjoyed these for a few minutes but sadly it began to rain. We moved inside. I asked the waitress whether we could sit in the lighter side of the roof terrace which was to the right…the bar to the left felt very dark with lots of lights not on/ working? She replied sharply that this side was for restaurant guests only and walked off. We were not offered food menus and it put me off having food or drinks up there again. If the service in the roof terrace can be improved, this is the perfect hotel. "

"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the Vatican, which made sightseeing incredibly convenient. The room was very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, providing a great place to relax after a long day of exploring the city. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged and welcoming. The breakfast was another highlight, with a good variety of options and fresh, tasty choices to start the day right. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. They were absolutely excellent—friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had a great experience. Overall, a wonderful stay. We would definitely come back again!"

"Hotel Raphael is a wonderful hotel in a wonderful area of Rome. The service team at the hotel were very friendly and kind. We really enjoyed their roof top terrace which offer beautiful views of Rome. The dining options at the hotel are excellent. Their breakfast is very good and we enjoyed some of their restaurant dishes on their terrace. Overall, a wonderfully located hotel that was a pleasure to visit."
