"We stayed in Helena, it was very clean and well equipped. Concern about escape routes in the event of a fire. Some rooms didn’t have a large enough window to get out of. Swimming pool great, as was the hot tub. Lovely setting near Blandford. Would recommend getting shopping delivered as quite remote. "

"We went as a family of four for a 4 night stay over the festive period. The property was lovely, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The Property Manager was always on hand to help with any queries and this was much appreciated. The location is great, with supermarkets like Aldi and Co-op within a few mins drive. In terms of places to visit, the Sandbanks beach was 20 mins drive, Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove only 30 mins away. The location is ideal and places are not very far away....

"Unfortunately the house was not clean. Shoes needed to be worn as the floors were not clean enough to wear just socks. There wasn’t enough cutlery for all of us to eat. The bedrooms were well equipped but the bed was uncomfortable and pillows were so thin they were pointless. However the fact that we all had a tv and an en-suite was brilliant. Walkable from the rail station and walkable to the city center, where you will find the beautiful Salisbury Cathedral, which also houses the Magna Carta in its Cloisters. Short drive to Stonehenge and Old Serum. The property itself is clean and comfortably sleeps 8. Would highly recommend."

"From check in to check out, I cannot fault my stay here. This hotel had been recommended to me by several friends, and they weren't wrong. A warm welcome from the receptionist on arrival. A lovely, spacious room, comfy bed and large shower. The bar and restaurant staff were excellent. The food delicious, reasonable bar prices as well Breakfast was excellent and checkout seemless. I'd happily stay here again. If you are coming here, even for just a meal; do book a table in advance as they get very busy and you can see why. "
