"Pros: Excellent quality of furniture, good natural light, good communication with the owner... perfect to enjoy your stay on Faial. Cons: My boyfriend only missed some kitchen stuff, because the kitchen tools offered are basic. But it's a cheap treat, nothing important"

"Pros: We were upgraded to a three bedroom apartment in the same block. The apartment is very spacious with an attractive terrace and fabulous view of Pico island. It is very tastefully furnished with antiques which have been lovingly restored. Dora was very kind and communication with her was excellent. She left us a lovely welcome hamper of local food. Highly recommended property. Cons: Only the weather!"

"The Orange Whale House is a magical place. I have traveled a lot, and this is my favorite place so far. The house, the host, and the location are the absolute best. The Vrbo pictures do not do it justice, simply beautiful!"
