"I loved the 4 days I stayed at Caliu. The owners are lovely and I enjoyed the ecological build of the rooms that gave me many ideas for my own renovation for the ancient house I purchased in Italy half a year ago. I love the natural cooling system which makes A/C obsolete, the attached greenhouse with tropical plants that are watered with recycled water from the shower, the hotel owned organic garden which supplies their cute restaurant and how quiet it is there.

"Beautifully decorated in a classic-modern style, this brand new hotel is great. Everything is sparkling clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a nice residential neighborhood in the outskirts of Carmelo, a few blocks away from the beautiful tree-lined riverbank. Perfect hotel for peace and quiet. Highly recommended. "
