It was up 38 steps ( no lift to this part of the hotel) but the view made the climb worth it. Quiet despite its central location. Lovely breakfast, again with views of the Minster. Would stay again. "Room is not bad. But service has been dropped too much comparing with the last time I visited here. Staff is not that professional now, room service is not properly. I paid for the onsite parking, 49.5gbp per night, but can’t been guaranteed there would be a space reserved for you. But I had to pay for it. And nobody told me I need to pay for it when I was parking, only knew it when checked out. Totally, the management is a bit chaotic, service is not properly as I expected, it’s terrible. I loved this hotel when I stayed here last time. But this time, it was so disappointed. "

Limited parking but we were lucky to secure a space. Conveniently close to York centre. York is beautiful, historical and fascinating. "
