We loved Cong. We had spent time in Dublin and Galway prior, and we loved the village experience of Cong. We also had a car during our Cong stay and enjoyed our drive around the Connamara peninsula.

"Our room was spacious and well appointed. Noise from nearby rooms and late night arrivals was loud and annoying. Room heaters did not come on until 6am. Breakfast was enjoyable."

Didn’t explore much of Cong since we had everything we needed at our accommodations (The Lodge at Ashford) but the little town is adorable! The pharmacy was very helpful too.

Love this little village. Of course we did the quiet man tour. My whole reason for wanting to go see where one of my favorite movies was filmed.
