Discover Maki cabin at Jefferson's Landing Resort on the crystal clean shores of South Twin Lake. This meticulously cared for and updated property provides all the modern amenities needed for a care-free and magical Northwoods vacation.

When you arrive at Maki Cabin, you’ll be immediately enveloped in pristine Northwoods privacy encompassing the resort space. Maki Cabin boasts a level, manicured landscape with a sandy shoreline and private beach. Fish off of the pier while you watch kids swim or row away from the shore on a 14’ aluminum row boat provided by the property.

The cabin is the perfect blend of rustic Northwoods décor and cozy cabin amenities. Relax in front of the gorgeous, wood burning fireplace while catching glimpse of wildlife right outside. Both bedrooms provide privacy and space with one queen and one twin bed in each. The bright open style living room and dining area provide the perfect setting to entertain and dine after a busy day exploring the lakes.

The cabin’s deck extends the full length of the house for almost panoramic views of South Twin. South and North Twin Lakes have been the envy of anglers for years with excellent Musky, Walleye and Bass fishing throughout the lake. Take a break from fishing and paddle the lake looking for Eagle overhead and deer grazing the lake front.

Enjoy the privacy of South and North Twin Lakes or explore the nearby towns of Conover and Eagle River to explore local shops, pubs and restaurants. With almost direct access to the ATV and bike trails, there is an exhilarating way to explore the area in any season!

Property was perfect for our family of 4. The lake is a great place for the kids to play and with the house being so close it was easy to keep an eye on them while cooking. We will be back.

That is the best 50's style cabin since I was a kid going up, and it smells, looks and feels like a cabin of old that I missed. It is super clean, and easily accommodates two couples nicely if needed. It has a fantastic dock and walk in beach area for kids, we just loved our time at the Maki cabin in Conover, and we will be sure to book for next year shortly! Thank you for all warmth shared with me and my family.

This is an excellent cabin in an excellent location. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect for fishing and a short drive to town. We would definitely come again. That said, be warned that it's a northwoods cabin and has no A/C. Our first day was incredibly hot and no amount of provided fans could make us comfortable. Bear that in mind if you're coming in peak summer. We also requested a late checkout when contacted by the management firm. We were told that they would check with the cleaners and get back to us. Nobody did, so we honored the 8am checkout. We also turned up to an old moldy coffee filter in the coffee maker. These are minor gripes however, and did not detract from a wonderful stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved our time once again at the Maki Cabin. Relaxing in the lake. Enough walleye caught for a fish fry. Our dog loved jumping into the lake, swimming and even paddle boarding with my husband.
