"We were warmly welcomed by Paolo and his father who were charming and very helpful. The room was huge but rather gloomy and dark with all indirect lighting. "Excellent quiet location set away from the city with vineyard views. Outstanding restaurant and character bar - wonderful prices after the bigger cities. Hotel and rooms a little quirky in a good way - only downside is lack of air conditioning when 25C (80F) at night. Easy walk or cycle into town. Secure location to leave cars while exploring city. Great staff - even without English menu and limited English with waiter he ascertained what we wanted, liked and delivered accordingly. Watch...

"Truly a beautiful and old world look agriturismo. Felt like we were in an antique villa. Large room and excellent service. The owner is very nice and professional. Breakfast is home made, fresh, abundant and soooo good!!! 5 stars hotel except this little village outside of Bologna is nothing special. But the agriturismo is great and with great ambiance if you want to stay outside Bologna and take field trips from this location. Same hotel in Tuscany would be double the price."

"We were looking for a way to unwind after experiencing the cities of Rome and Florence - this place was perfect. We were able to go into Bologna and enjoy all that the city has to offer and then relax poolside in the afternoon when it was hot. Pamela and Gabriel were wonderful - they had lots of great recommendations and were very accommodating. Great experience all around. One tip: This property is not near many restaurants, so plan accordingly. Our kids loved making pasta and flatbread...
