"The property wasn’t in the placeI it stated caravan Park.Atlantic Bays holiday Park . The post code we ended up in a farm. Not happy. Eventually after a1.30 hours we got to the above place. There was no information which lodge .The lodge itself was grotty needs to be updated wall in bedrooms need to be bit higher. I got a cold it was damp bit tight for family "
"The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent
However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows.
Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill.

"Lantern Cottage was exactly as described. It was very clean and comfortable. The layout and facilities had been very well thought out.
The shared courtyard was lovely to sit out in the sun. We were able to store our bikes there too, which we rode on the nearby Camel trail.
It was peaceful even though we were almost in the centre of Padstow. There were numerous bars and restaurants nearby all serving delicious food. There is also a Spar shop 1minute walk away handy for last minute supplies....

"Fantastic stay at Bloomfield. Everything was as described. The gift of scones and milk was much appreciated. Property was clean and had everything we needed. Outside shower was useful.It’s a 10 minute walk to beach (slightly uphill on way back). Parking is on street outside the property which involved some nifty parallel parking into a tight space. As others have mentioned, the steps up to the property may be tricky for elderly or more infirm guests.Farm shop directly opposite property and Padstow is only 5 minute drive."

"The property is the perfect location for Trevone bay and rocky beach, the children loved it and not far to visit Padstow or numerous other beaches. The property was very clean and well equipped, and we especially enjoyed the downstairs wet room and utility to shower after a beach day. I would highly recommend this property it has everything you need for a great holiday."

Staff were very friendly and helpful .
The hotel is just a five minute walk across fields from Trevone beach and coast path so ideally located for what we wanted.
Padstow is walkable. We took the longer coastal route, 6 to 8 miles depending which path you take. Coming back, we took the shorter 2 mile-route across the fields.
We stayed in Trevone for the evening to eat at the Beachside Café and listen to some local live music.

"The actual property location on Expedia is incorrect, only when receiving the Sykes confirmation was the correct location stated. I messaged the property owner via Expedia to request a cancellation but received no reply. The chalet is fairly dated but clean. WiFi has to be paid for at £10 a week which seems a bargain until you realise it’s unusable most of the time. The park itself doesn’t make it clear that the bar/restaurant is closed having been decimated in a storm 18 months ago… a thoroughly disappointing experience all round "
