I stayed here for a few days last week when on a business trip from Canada. Well, all I can say is what a beautiful place! Out in the country but not far from the local town the atmosphere here is just wonderful, and the staff were absolutely charming. This place has obviously undergone a full on restoration at some point in the past and exudes charm, just beautiful, I'd highly recommend it :-)
Very cosy country house hotel. Stayed here for 2 nights. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are starting to look a little dated but that fits nicely with the overall charm of the place. Food was excellent. Bed was comfortable. WiFi worked. Shower was decent once figured out. Would definitely stay again.
The location is perfect. Close to town but not in town. Very rural. The breakfast is quite good. There's a little restaurant next-door with decent food. The staff is very friendly and warm.
Absolutely amazing stay over May Day bank holiday. We arrived early however, it wasn't long until our room was ready, amazing views from room 1, bathroom has got to be the biggest we have ever had in a hotel. We took a walk around the grounds and there was a gentleman who I reckon was a manager, stopped and had a lovely chat with us, he was very pleasant, and it was the same gent who checked us out on Sunday morning. Breakfast was perfect, piping hot and good variety on the menu, the lady who served breakfast on Monday morning was very friendly also. I would recommend the extra few pounds to upgrade although I'm sure all the rooms are lovely, room 1 was just perfect for us. The grounds were stunning, lovely little summer seats strategically placed to sit and admire the view. We are considering Tullylagan for our wedding & I'm already looking forward to our next visit to Tullylagan.

Great staff, poor quality room
The staff was great and very helpful. However, the room did not meet my expectations.
It had a horrible shower and toilet and the beds were not very comfortable. The lobby area was wonderful and relaxing.
We were disappointed in the Tullylagan hotel. We had no hot water in our en-suite, so no hot shower for us. A manager told us it would come through eventually, but unfortunately it didn't. The bathroom had a stale water smell. The duvet must have been about 15 tog and very heavy. Nothing luxurious or generous about our room, just a generic rather tired hotel room; not a biscuit in the room if you wanted to have a bite to eat with some medication, watery filter coffee in the restaurant at breakfast. We are amazed that the hotel management think £109 a night is a fair price, when one could stay in a genuinely lovely, luxurious hotel for that amount, where guest comfort and experience is very important.
Serving staff and night concierge were pleasant and friendly. At check-out the manager could have taken something off the bill for the lack of hot water, but no.
as no downstairs bedroom was available staff were so apologetic,as I am disabled, but next morning breakfast was served in our room at no charge,a very thoughtful gesture which saved me doing the stairs one less time!
A beautiful place, great staff, super food, We will be back.
The hotel is situated on a beautiful long drive with elaborate grounds. My daughter and I particularly enjoyed the horses grazing out back. The hotel lobby and staff were wonderful. The rooms were very comfortable!! The food at Harry's Pub was divine.
This Hotel was very good. The only partial negative was the room was dated, but it was spotless and servicable. What made this 3 day stay for me was the staff, all were very polite and couldnt do enough to make my stay a good one.
Arrived after a long flight and lost luggage. Felt welcomed, expected. Perfect breakfast the next day. Wish we could have stayed longer.

On business, not a Hotel type I would usually select. Expected more, lovely location, room decor rather dated. Hotel food was off site, Harry's Bar, average.
Breakfast in the morning served in the Hotel, but service slow and coffee cold.
Always a pleasure to stay here - its won wedding hotel awards and also food/restaurant awards and it shows! Food is always good - choice of bistro, bar or restaurant on busy nights. Its an oasis of calm with great friendly staff, super food and your biggest problem is probably sleeping it out. Country house style hotel with good chef and great value. Freshly cooked breakfast was superb
