All you should need provided for in the house, with a starter pack of teas and soda bread. Ideal for a short family stay with children. "We arrived a bit late due to traffic in Dublin and a delayed flight but had everything to check in sent before by John, the owner. After arrival we found a perfectly cleaned and very well furnished house which exceeded all out wishes. There was more than enough space for the four of us and out two children (2 and 6 yrs old) where excited to find Christmas plates in the kitchen The kitchen equipment is perfect for a stay - even an airfryer is there, next to a toaster, microwave, etc. - and John...

"The house itself was great. Lots of room and comfortable. They location is on a small dirt road which made it a bit awkward. The problem came with the heat. Had a cold week , low to mid 40s and the house inside wss set at 17.. about 63 degrees. We asked about raisi t the heat heat the answer was no. Heat is controled by owner. So we spent our evenings in sweater and jacket. Felt untrusted. We left several days early"

Modern & stylish in tranquil setting

"We enjoyed a really lovely short break in Sligo recently with the excellent Castle Dargan as a base. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Everyone greeted us warmly and were attentive without being intrusive. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable bedding and large bathroom, although the toilet bowl was situated very tight to a wall. We enjoyed a tasty lunch overlooking the scenic golf course. Breakfast offered a good choice and again was top class. We will definitely return to this gem of a hotel."
