"I was pleased with the property and hosts. The property is quiet and comfortable. The porch overlooking the river is fantastic. The problem came during and after check out. Our host said I was only registered for 1 adult 2 kids. I had reservations for 5 adults (2weee teens). Later she emailed me saying that because I was only registered for 2 she was charging my card an extra fee. Sure enough when I checked my card was charged again. I didn’t mind paying for the extra. "I looked at lots of pet-friendly places before I stumbled upon this wonderful spot! The location is so peaceful, it’s a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I’m definitely planning to book it again when I’m back in Maine, especially since my fur-baby is welcome!"

"Mary, the host, was excellent with communicating any requested info about the house and town of Eastport. We were three older couples who needed comfortable bedrooms, and happily all beds were very comfortable with no lumps or sags. The two queen bedrooms on the second floor both had roomy closets and dressers so there was plenty of space to unpack into; the small connecting bathroom had a shower/tub, sink and toilet. Downstairs, the trundle bed/office room had direct access to the bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet, That bathroom also opened to the kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area a good size for six people. There were condiments in the fridge from previous tenants, spices, herbs and other basics. We appreciated all of the games in the house and also a great selection of books. The laundry room had a sink, a place to hang clothes if needed, and a closet with extra paper towels and toilet paper. We've been renting houses in Maine for about 20 years and this was among the best equipped for daily needs. The view of the beach and water were wonderful, and the road by the house was perfect for a good no traffic half hour walk."

"This sweet little cottage had everything you need to relax and recharge right on the water. Our first night there, we saw and heard some loons and a bald eagle swooping around right in front of us. The cabin was clean and well-equipped, with an amazing sunset over the lake!"
