Is a cultural town, the people is friendly but if you wanna go, prepare for the real tropical forest weather, hot and wet.






Very peaceful and beautiful location next to the river. Only a couple minutes walk to the town square and many restaurants, about 5 mins walk to the bus terminal, and 15 mins easy walk to the ruins entrance. The hacienda was spectacular, reminiscing of something out of a movie. They have plenty of beds for a large group such as ours. Was awesome, get a guide! Julio if possible. He worked there since he was young excavating the ruins and with the archeologists, very knowledgeably.
Copan Ruinas is a beautiful and safe place with many friendly people. It's a spectacular place. A must visit.
