I stayed here for three nights with my 13 year old son. I have always seen the „Admiral Hotel“ from outside and wanted to stay here because it looked amazing.
A big minus is the service and the lack of courtesy of the staff.
In a hotel (especially in this price range) I expect a friendly welcome and courteous staff. Instead, I am asked to check in online a few days before arrival. This must then be completed on site on the iPad. This did not work for us and we had to go to reception. Unfortunately, the lady was not very friendly.
As a landlord of holiday properties, I know that a warm welcome can make a holiday so much more enjoyable. As a guest, you should always feel welcome. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The corridors are very cramped and there are laundry trolleys standing around everywhere, which gives a very untidy impression. The room was comfortable and clean. However, the value for money is not right in my opinion. We will not stay here again.
