Clean and comfortable. I expected a kitchenette so was disappointed with only a microwave and mini fridge

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities, communication
My wife and I have stayed in numerous Colorado ski-in condos over the years. This place could use some real attention in both the maintenance and management service/info communication departments. Check in took far longer than it should have. Vacasa management office is pretty easy to track down, but the check-in message from the property contained no info about which lock box to use to obtain the room keys. Had to wait for a management service rep to look that info up. An inefficient step that could have been easily avoided with a better check-in message.
Room itself has problems. Sink hardly drains and is missing a lever to open/shut spout. Bathtub hardly drains. Many of the pillows have long-term stains. I’ve stayed in many ski-in village spots that are dated, but it’s clear this one gets zero attention.
Ski locker - Combination lock was provided in room, but no instructions/communication about use of ski lockers or a code for the combo lock. Reached out to Vacasa, and they weren’t able to provide the info either. Overall, very poor instructions/communication about how to make use of the place.
Positives are the main bed is comfy and the proximity to lifts.
I hope the owners & Vacasa read this review and make some simple/inexpensive changes which could make this experience more enjoyable.
This property is in the ideal ski in, ski out location.
Every aspect of my rental experience was professionally handled and seamless. We had a few minor issues and gave my feedback to the property manager- they were very responsive. I did suggest they buy new pillows, the ones on the bed were clearly very old.
I would stay there again.
Property was what we expected. Nothing fancy, new or updated just basic. Shower handle was broken, humidifier didn’t work and water was scalding or ice cold nothing between. Room got hot but easy to crack the window.
I was there 5 nights. The location is perfect and beyond convenient. Right outside the side door is the pond where you can ice skate, awesome restaurants, shops, convenience store and Center Villages 2 lifts. Exiting the main doors you will find the bus stops to go to East or West Village.
The room was cozy with a mini fridge and microwave. Loved how there was a portable floor fan for white noise/air flow. We packed frozen meals and were able to store them in the freezer and heat up in the microwave. The room came with sponges and dish soap, travel size shampoo and conditioner, paper towels and extra toilet paper. If you use a hair dryer, bring your own as there wasn’t one in the room.
The only “complaints” would be that the room is dark with only 4 small lamps, the shower/toilet area was also dark and housekeeping needed to a better job of cleaning before we arrived. Just minor things: water bottles found under the bed, chapstick on floor next to bed, and coffee pot full of someone else’s coffee. Other than that the room was great and I will definitely stay here again!

Mountain fun
We love Copper and would rent this again next year for overflow. The carpet desperately needs replacing and a paint job would go a long way.
We look forward to next year.
Thank you!

Awesome location.
Fantastic Jacuzzi . Housekeeping was incredibly helpful, property management good when you can get a hold of them. A lot of times you call them and there’s seven people in front of you. That can be a long wait in an emergency.

Just OK. Problems with thermostat and access to unit
Can't give this one a thumbs up. Had a bad experience waiting around over an hour for someone to show up with a key despite showing up at check-in time. The thermostat was broken the entire time leaving the unit at 78 degrees. Despite calling to get it fixed, nobody showed up or followed up. It's definitely not worth the money given the condition that we found the unit in.

Skiing vacation
Room is very basic with 2 full size beds, a coffee maker, shampoo/conditioner, towels, humidifier, hair dryer, microwave, refrigerator, and an iron. The room came with dish soap, but only two coffee mugs so you will need to bring paper plate/bowls/silverware if you plan on eating in the room. We were fairly disappointed that the room wasn't cleaned every day, and it wasn't super clean to begin with. The room was also very hot. We had the heat turned completely off, and often had the windows open (in the middle of the winter!) The location was perfect, in Center Village, so that was really the only bonus.

Clean crisp mountain air
We came to Village Square for the Guitar Town festival. We stayed in room 535. The room was nice and clean with a small refrigerator and two queen beds. There is no air conditioner but it's really not needed when you're up in the mountains. They had a fan and we put it in the window. It worked fine and we were very comfortable with the August night air. Daytime weather was 75°-80° weather and we were very comfortable. The only thing is the room desperately needs to be updated. with some kind of decor. Colorado cabin theme would be nice with color on the walls or a red accent wall. Maybe shiplap and modern farmhouse would work. It's very bland and neutral. It could use some art work on the walls and accessories like a rug.
I very much liked that it was right in town with lots of restaurants and shops. We stayed three days and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Tough Mudder weekend, excellent location, nice room, good price
Came up to Copper Mountain to do Tough Mudder and stayed here. Located within a 2 minute walk of center and adjacent to the lake, we just parked the car in the underground garage for the weekend.
Has a microwave, mini fridge, coffee pot (but no coffee, so bring your own), TV, dvd player, pretty much all you need since you'll be hanging out in the village anyway.
