We had a great time visiting the hotel- the staff were all very nice. The overall atmosphere was not as kid-friendly as we had hoped, but otherwise it was a good stay on the beach.

Red Carpet Inn Airport and Cruise Port Hotel Fort Lauderdale
Floors were wet, slippery and extremely dangerous. There was a woman sleeping in the bushes at the front door. People were loitering everywhere. The positives were the family that ran the food counter and the shuttle service.

Ocean Sky Hotel and Resort
Rooms were very nice, partial ocean view was definitely a stretch, but the pool area and beach made up for it. Onsite restaurant had zero patrons.... We chose not to eat there....
