We arrived too tired to think of going to a restaurant and the prepared an impromptu but delicious meal. And we can't say enough good things about Rosa, her daughter Miriam and her husband Tiziano! "No toiletries, no hot water for shower, no coffee or tea maker in the room. Transportation was provided at a cost, not the best stay for a long flight the next day to the states. It was very convenient to the airport, but not much more."

"First, the positives - room was very clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Now the negatives (1) hard to find the place there is a small sign on the door, about 10 by 12 inches and no street name. We had to ask a few locals and most of them didn’t know where it was. (2) nowhere did it say you have to climb 50+ stairs in a very hot stairwell, to get to the room. There is no elevator. We were on a three week trip with two large suitcases. We found a man in the street and paid him...

We notified host that the Bed "Creeked "Badly " with every Slight movement. Response " no one else has complained " which does not solve the problem. We requested a solution & for the host to come to room. Mentioned to a cleaner. No one was willing to attend to our complaint. Host wrote offering a topper...

"Very cool spot for our last night in Bari. Close to the airport and the staff were super helpful getting a taxi setup and making dining suggestions. Probably the best night of sleep I had the whole trip!"

"Lovely spacious room in the old city close to the Fort. We had room 104 of the collection of Blanco B&B’s which is over a Bar. This does mean it can be very noisy early in the morning when they’re setting up the cafe and also the early morning garbage and bottle collections are very loud. The people who run the cafe s are lovely and we enjoyed a delicious and basic Italian breakfast there each morning as part of our booking. "

"Hotel is not a hotel but a room for the night. You get a token to present to one of two cafe for a coffee and pastry in the morning which is the free breakfast. The reception is always closed, even at the announced opening times which is inconvenient. It’s rather basic. However it in a great location with everything you need close by but you are basically fending for yourself. I wouldn’t let it put you off if you are confident in staying in a room in a building that has no other facilities....

Ruhig und wunderbar ausgestattet mit Gartenmöbeln, ein Traum von südlichem Leben auf dem Lande. Küche und Schlafzimmer sind bestens und geschmackvoll ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, Francesco sorgt großartig umsichtig für alle Bedürftnisse der Gäste. Der Abschied nach fünf Tagen fiel uns schwer."
