"You could not ask for a better VRBO location in the Birch Harbor area. Home is situated at the intersection of a gas station; great local family restaurants and best ice cream in town - and, just a 15 minute walk (8 min bike ride) to Acadia Park loop. "Quiet and comfortable apartment for a couple, conveniently located just a few minutes from the main Acadia Visitors Center. Kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals when you aren’t dining in Bar Harbor. We stayed a full week which was long enough to hit the Acadia highlights. Host was very responsive and helpful. "We can’t say enough great things about the property. It’s perfectly located and well-appointed. It works very well for a family with kids of various ages. "The unit is above a garage. There's plenty of privacy and it's very well set up, provided that you don't expect to cook food - which the hosts tell you is not allowed. There is a small fridge, hot pot and Keurig with mugs, paper cups, utensils etc. We had every convenience we wanted and greatly enjoyed our stay. It is only about 15 minutes from Acadia National Park."
