"The Romantic Trulli was absolutely wonderful - spacious, very clean, and our room had a nice, private patio. The owners were truly lovely...and they own a wine shop and a linen shop right around the corner :) Everything is very walkable, including the parking, which is about 2 blocks or so away (just keep that in mind if your pulling luggage, but it really wasn't a problem). We would 100% return!"

"The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the apartment named Carla, which was very well decorated and very comfy. No expense was spared with little details, such as a basket full of bathroom essentials (should you forget anything), and the cleaner checked in with us every day to see if we needed the apartment to be cleaned. I would highly recommend Dei Serafini and their properties to anyone wishing to stay in the centre of the old part of Polignano a Maré. "

"I was disappointed with this hotel. The check in was terrible, we got in tired from traveling all day and we we're told they couldn't offer us anything to eat and that we had to go out at 9pm. The whole stay felt very unwelcoming. No one brings you towels to the pool, you have to bring your own bags to the car. It was the opposite of hospitality and not what you expect from the price per night. Won't be recommending to anyone. "

"A tale of two stories…. Our first night/breakfast absolutely fabulous service. The room is very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep… sun loungers round the pool less so. Second night we had the tasting menu… amazing… but the only thing our (admittedly fussy10 yr old daughter) would eat was the margarita pizza (at €22 of which she ate less than half) seemed expensive. Our second breakfast was by comparison inadequate, absolute lack of service, no glasses for the juice/water, an a la cate...

"A beautiful trulli with two large bedrooms and small sitting area to enjoy a relax outside of the bedroom. The furniture and bathrooms are high quality and very comfortable. A five to ten minute walk to the main town where all the trulli can be seen and shops and restaurants. Lovely croissant breakfast included in a local coffee shop just afew minutes walk up the road. "We arrived a little later than planned due to a 2 hour flight delay but were greeted enthusiastically by the owner’s mother who spoke no English. We muddled through the walk through of this amazingly beautiful trulli but later the owner and her daughter came and explained a little more in English. The trulli is picture postcard beautiful both inside and out. I like to cook so found the kitchen a little lacking. I did however learn to use a Bialetti caffitiera and cook porridge on the stove...

"We had the most amazing stay at Antico Mondo! The staff was beyond friendly and very helpful. We came to Poligano a Mare during the town’s yearly parade which made it difficult to hire a taxi for our ride back to the airport. The kind man at the front desk, Emio, offered to drive us himself. I don’t know what we would have done without him! Our room was lovely and we even had two balconies attached which was a pleasant surprise! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. Thank you Antico Mondo! Hopefully we’ll be able to come back someday! "
