Välstädat och bra frukost men tyvärr så ligger hotellet nära stor genom farts led och långt ifrån restaurang och strand. Busshållplats precis utanför som man enkelt ta sig runt ön.

Very Disappointing Stay

The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the staff seemed strange and unprofessional. The breakfast was awful: there was absolutely no hygiene at the buffet, which was already very minimal and of very poor quality. The juices were clearly not fresh and tasted like cheap powdered mixes diluted with water. The sugar container was dirty, and even the cups and cutlery were not properly cleaned. Honestly, I cannot recommend this hotel at all. It is far from being worth the price given the poor level of service. The room service was not done, and the door of my room looked like a prefabricated panel — really shameful.

L’ensemble est vraiment très décevant. Pour commencer le réceptionniste a ouvert deux chambres déjà occupé avant de trouver celle dans laquelle nous mettre (pas très respectueux pour ceux qui occupaient les chambres concernées). Au delà de la déco ancienne qui n’est pas au goût de tous, les équipements sont tout aussi vieux (mis à part la Sdb rénovée récemment). À notre arrivée le frigo était débranché nous avons vite compris pourquoi, puisqu’il faisait un bruit horrible. En plus de ce bruit, la Clim qui n’est plus toute neuve en faisait aussi, nous entendions également un bruit venant d’en haut similaire au bruit que faisait notre frigo (peut-être le frigo du dessus qui tremblotait sur le mur ou sol) sans compter les voisins qui n’étaient pas du tout respectueux, les avions qui décollaient et atterrissaient (car piste d’atterrissage très proche de l’hôtel) et les voitures (ces derniers pas de la faute de l’hôtel mais à préciser). La literie était aussi vieille et usée, nous sentions les ressorts du matelas sur nos côtés vraiment de quoi être toute cassé le lendemain sans oublier les grincement du lit à chaque mouvement. Pour le petit déjeuner vraiment bof. La plage privé bof également (3/4 des transat cassé) L’un dés réceptionniste (un vieux monsieur) était très agréable contrairement à sa collègue. En ce qui concerne l’emplacement on est assez proche de l’aéroport mais prévoir de l’avancée car les bus sont remplis, pas beaucoup de choses autour (activités, resto)

we were a family of 5 booked a Suite, 2 Bedrooms, Sea View. I read through the review expecting this large room would be nice. a few hours before check in time. We were told not to go to Aegli hotel. A telephone number with a wrong name of another hostel given. Unable to reach Aegli hotel as not one answer the phone with a couple attempts. The allocated hostel was in the middle of a busy room. The host refused us to park inside the compound and made us park the opposite side of the busy road, dangerous to cross the road with 3 children. asked him why we cannot park the empty parking space then he granted us to park it afterwards. the room was dusty yet slippers were provided. the toilet is rusty and the floor was wet when i stepped in. one of the tap not working. the cups are dusty. it is on the ground floor with insects, no seaview. actually it is on the ground floor so no privacy dont expect to open any windows.

Old property that needs a lot of renovation. The bathroom was good unfortunately just the bedroom needs a lot of work. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was possibly the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. Food is kept out without covers, poor hygiene and food is all cold. No toaster option to at least make it edible. They have plenty of space to make it better and for the price you expect something better. I recommend either stopping it altogether or make vast improvements

Wonderful family run Hotel

Fantastic family run hotel, lovely rooms, spotlessly clean, comfy beds, breakfast had a great choice and freshly cooked. The views were amazing overlooking Mouse Island. The restaurant did lovely food, great wine and very friendly staff. Some great chats with the owners about Gerald Durrell who they new too. A proper Greek stay. Thank you.

Penoso y muy mal trato de Sofía en recepción.

Nos han cobrado la estancia dos veces, les hemos reclamado y hemos tenido que reclamar a Visa porque no se han dado por aludidos. El desayuno lleno de avispas. El zumo del desayuno y la leche son de polvos. El baño asqueroso, adjuntamos fotos. La playa con mal olor porque es agua que esta muy quieta y la orilla huele muy mal y muy cochambrosa la parte de playa donde el suelo ni es arena ni está asfaltado. Muy peligrosa la carretera con niños o personas mayores o con movilidad reducida, porque el hotel justo está en la carretera sin ni siquiera una acera y tienes que correr para cruzar la carretera e ir a la playa porque pasan a toda velocidad los coches que además dan la curva justo en el hotel por lo que no los ves, además del ruido continuo cuando abres la ventana. Si vas a este hotel no tienes literalmente sitios cerca donde tomar algo, solo hay un par de restaurantes cerca.

A special experience

I spent a very special night in this hotel in a beautiful location with a fantastic view over the sea and possibility to see the airplanes sail down to the airport. Too bad the location was the only good thing about this place. Checking in it was some inconvenience and I was told too prove my booking. Without taking it badly I showed my receipt and they continued questioning my recervation because of the amount I paid, it was my 10th booking and my reward night. A small discussion later and I got a room. After that she told me where the breakfast was served and where their restaurant was located. Looking up my room I noticed a door in a very bad condition, showed in the picture. After entering the room a strong odor of urine hit my face. I took a look in the bathroom and it had a very tired look like the rest of the room. It obviously had gone through the cleaning routine but everything. The walls, fridge, bathroom, mirrors felt so dirty. There was no holder to the shower nozzle and light bulbs were not working. Ants and mosquitos were visiting during the night.

Slitt med en hvis sjarm....hvis man liker fly : )

Hotellet er slitt men har til dels sin sjarm. Hvis man er flytitter er dette rette stedet siden man da skjelden ser hva som er rundt seg, men bruker tiden på å se opp i luften. Du trenger forsåvidt ikke å se opp i luften, det holder å ligge i sengen og se ut. Flyene passerer i høyde med hotellet, ca 150 meter ut i luftlinje. Mye bråk men for spesielt interesserte er det sikkert himmelen.

Fair price for the overall service

Pros: - Superb view - Nice price (52eur/night mid Aug) - Clean - Friendly staff Cons: - Without a means of transp., maybe you should reconsider. - With a means of transp, please bear in mind that there are max 10 parking slots to serve 44 rooms of the hotel + its cafe. I never managed to find an empty slot. - Parking in that area is a nightmare. - Shower built inside a plastic cabine, the cabine could barely fit a 175cm/75kg man.

einfaches Hotel mit schöner Aussicht

Das Hotel bietet eine schöne Aussicht auf Kanoni und die Mauseinsel. Mein Mann und ich haben uns aufgrund des günstigen Preises für dieses Hotel entschieden und blieben drei Nächte. Das Zimmer war ok, kein Luxus, aber sauber - mit Klimaanlage und Kühlschrank. Abends konnte man schön auf dem Balkon sitzen und auf das Meer schauen und die Flugzeuge beobachten, die vom Flughafen starten oder dort landen (Fenster sind gut isoliert!). Der Inhaber war sehr freundlich, genauso wie die Angestellten, die alle sehr gut Englisch sprechen. Der Hoteleigene Steinstrand war eine Enttäuschung - viel Müll, ungepflegt und sogar eine tote Ratte haben wir gesehen... Insgesamt war es ok, aber beim nächsten Mal würde ich nach einer Unterkunft direkt in der Stadt Ausschau halten.

In bagno,nel frigo e nel letto c'erano ciocche di capelli. Il bagno puzzava di fogna e la stanza era piena di zanzare, oltre che non ci hanno mai cambiato gli asciugamani. Dopo il check-out ci avevano dato la possibilità di tornare e di avere una stanza per farci una doccia. Dopo che eravamo stati in giro tutto il giorno e ci hanno dato una stanza di un altra persona per farci una doccia...cosa che non abbiamo fatto perchè ci faceva schifo!

Vi var en vennegjeng som trengte en plass å sove før flyet vårt gikk hjem til Bergen. Etter å ha lest anmeldelsene var vi meget skeptiske til hva som kom oss i møte. Det vi hadde lest kunne ikke vært mer feil. De ansatte var ufattelig hjelpsomme, og hyggelige. De snakket godt engelsk også. Det var god mat og ikke minst hjemmelaget i tillegg. Rommene var så som så, noen av oss hadde aircondition, mens hos andre virket det ikke. Sengene var litt harde. Det var høyt under taket, og sånn sett koselig. Utsikten var overraskende nydelig. Flyene landet like i nærheten av hotellet, og støy kunne merkes på dagen, men var ikke noe problem for søvnen.
