Our room was clean and adequately sized for two of us, could have used a few extra hangers in the wardrobe and better storage.
The hotel itself was clean and quite well maintained. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Drinks varied depending on who is making them- iced coffee was either a gorgeous foam or black frothy tar like concoction.
The one element that really brings Nobilis down is the food, poor quality, poor flavour and massively disappointing.
A couple of the chefs were very good at making omelettes but, on the whole, the all inclusive offering is dismal. At breakfast, Greek yoghurt that tastes nothing like any Greek yoghurt I’ve ever eaten before anywhere , pastries with minimal flavour other than salt, tinned pears or fruit cocktail. Repetitive dishes for lunch/dinner which are often mislabelled and non differentiated, disgusting desserts- mini chocolate eclairs with fake cream and taste of salt/chemicals.
The feta cheese and salads were ok, but after dining at local restaurants Nobilis is nowhere near the standard of any local eateries.
Gorgeous weather, location and standard hotel which is poorly let down by its food and drink quality.
