Corigliano d'Otranto (Choriàna or Koriana griko, Curiànu in local dialect) is an Italian town set in the Salento (Puglia), belonging to the historic region of "Grecìa Salentina", a linguistic area of nine municipalities where the inhabitants speak the "griko", an ancient language of Greek origin. Corigliano d'Otranto has an impressive castle with a highly decorated exterior. It is defined "the most beautiful monument of military architecture dating to the beginning of the sixteenth century in feudal Terra d'Otranto".

"Too many high hidden fees for coming across as a Hotel. The director was very kind and polite. The 2 bedrooms villa was poorly designed. We learnt that the resort has been recently taken over by another owner. With did not have an unpleasant stay but I cannot accept fees that sum up to the cost of an extra night."

"Sadly, this place has great potential but it is a poor experience based on horrible customer service and poor amenities. It started with the front staff requiring higher extra fees than what was stated in the ad, blaming Hotels.com for having wrong information. My family then had to wait outside the reception for 45 minutes - no, they were not even allowed in to our room nor to use the pool - while I had to drive to an ATM to get cash to pay the fees. "Sehr gepflegte Anlage. Die Hausdame spricht sehr gut Englisch, ist unglaublich hilfsbereit, herzlich und ganz reizend. Das Deluxe Studio ist fantastisch, die Terasse ist riesig. Da es eine Spülmaschine gibt, wäre etwas mehr Besteck wünschenswert. Wir hatten nur 3 Sets. Hinter der Anlage liegt eine Firma mit LKWs die sehr früh mit den Arbeiten beginnt, was durchaus nervig sein kann. Da wir tagsüber unterwegs waren, war uns das egal, wer den Tag auf der sehr schönen Terrassen verbringen will,...

"Our room was very clean and unique. The air conditioning was excellent. Gianluca, our host /owner was very informative and attentive to our needs. He recommended excellent nearby restaurants and he made reservations for our first evening having just arrived. His sisters made us a delicious and sustainable breakfast every morning with fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, a selection of pastries and breads, eggs and a selection of meats and cheeses and cappuccinos . It was an enjoyable, restful stay. I should mention it was a 5 minute walk to the entrance of the old town where the sites, shopping and other eateries are located. Very safe area!!!!"

"Loved everything about this hotel and would 100% recommend! We stayed at the property for 3 nights and it was a perfect little haven in a quiet area but perfectly located to visit Gallipoli and Lecce (34 min drive). The hotel had everything you could want and more, from modern and clean rooms, to an amazing pool! We ate both lunch and dinner at the hotel and were not disappointed. It's a great stay if you want to relax in Puglia but also be able to visit nearby locations. "
