"The location in central Cork City is excellent, with ready access to many sites of interest. Shandon and the Butter Exchange, the UCC and Fitzgeralds Park/Mardyke no more than a short walk away. The staff are friendly and if you need anything you have only to ask. There is a small gym, laundry and reading space as well as study space available,and tea/coffee is there to help yourself. Hospital, Church and Courthouse a minute or two away, as well as a selection of Pubs and Restaurants. The English Market is no more than ten minutes walk away for me, a less than able walker.
Transport links are OK, a short taxi ride to train and bus/coach stations.
Yes even the Council building and Cathedral are nearby. Very pleasant stay in good weather. No hob or oven, but there is a small microwave."
