"These rooms are university dorms, I believe, but if you’re popping into Galway for a day or two during the summer, they’re comfortable and well kept. Staff are friendly and attentive. Parking may be an issue if you’re driving but there’s a free lot that’s maybe a five minute walk from the hotel you can use. You’re definitely away from the town centre, but we drove in so that’s no problem. Grab an Uber and it’ll probably be something like €10 to get you downtown, not bad at all. Overall, a pleasant stay!"

"The twelve was an excellent stay, so nice to have a suite style hotel with an extra wet bar and couch room. The record players in the room were a lot of fun. Because of this place, I’ll always remember Meatloaf’s “Bat out of hell”. Staff was great and the restaurant for breakfast and dinner room serve was excellent. "

"We were greeted by our host, Rosi, when we arrived. She was very welcoming and understanding to the fact that we were late. Her little cottage was all that we hoped it would be. Simple, rustic, and everything you would think an Irish cottage should be. The location was great. Waking up to the view of the mountains was amazing. Rosi, was great and made sure we had everything we needed. There is a beautiful garden to explore if you have time. Hoping to go back again. Thank you Rosi for the wonderful experience."
