"We have family nearby and stay here when visiting. Staff is welcoming, available and happy to help. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable and towels are thick. Breakfast is fine. We unfortunately had elephants overhead until after midnight this visit or they would have 5 stars. We will return."

"Clarinda is a halfway point for our trip to our cabin in Missouri. We were looking for an out of the way stop and Clarinda is perfect. "Good hotel for the price. Comfortable beds and pillows and liked having amenities like a pool and included breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful.The bathroom had updates, but the building itself smelled a little musty and could use some updating. Otherwise we were pleased with our stay."

"The "bean bag chair" didn't work for any of 70 folks. And since the sofa only seated 2, we had to drag the stools from the kitchen to the living room, which weren't comfortable for watching tv. End tables would be nice. The bathroom door didn't latch."
