The hotel is in a great location for everything outer banks offers. Corolla and Kitty Hawk were both within 30 minutes. The beach access is amazing and offered great sunrise views. Some minor mechanical and cosmetic repairs could be made in the rooms. They were clean and we'll staffed . Breakfast was typical for chain hotels, coffee always hot and fresh.. The sound of the ocean from our balcony was divine.

Clean, spacious room with good beds. Simple breakfast buffet is included. However, the place has no restaurant - need to drive to nearby towns/villages. Plenty of parking. Very short walk to beach. Major advantage: this is a quiet neighborhood, away from the stripmall like Kitty Hawk and Kill Devils towns.

Staff at the front desk were excellent. Housekeeping did take our dirty towels but didn't leave any clean ones which meant I had to go to desk and ask for some. Wasn't a huge deal but I was on my way to the pool. They should have had housekeeping bring them to the room instead of making me wait for them.

Front desk staff all very nice and helpful. Rooms always clean and tidy. Breakfast was not good at all. Eggs were way over down. Too rubbery! I didnt get to make a waffle because of the station being over crowded every morning no matter the time. We will come back but would rather have breakfast somewhere else.

Pros: 3 pools, hot tub, lazy river, great location, lobby was clean, room was pretty clean, great breakfast and good coffee Cons: 2 live spiders in rm & hallway, needs updates and major maintenance (our sprinkler near ceiling was a hole), mold in bathroom, filthy door, nasty carpet, no grout in tile floor, entire fire alarm system went off at 4:45am so everyone went outside waiting for ok from FD, missing tiles throughout ALL pools/ lazy river
