When we arrived we were immediately greeted, welcomed, and shown to our room. The hotel was clean and the rooftop views are wonderful and even better than pictured in the photos. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect proximity to the main walking street, bars, restaurants, seafood markets. The hotel staff connected us with the best tour guides. We had a very great stay, thank you to all the staff.

Great hotel in Coron

This is the nicest hotel we stayed in the Philippines. After 3 days on a boat trip, it was very refreshing to arrive at a clean hotel with great air conditioning, a real bathroom, nice floors, and working Wifi. Highly recommend - location is also very central in Coron.

Staff was amazing, very helpful with arranging a shared boat tour and transportation to the ferry. Great location, can walk to everything in the town. We didn't care about the pool; however, if you do this is not the place for you; it's very small and really just for sitting in. The breakfast was good. Thanks for a great stay.

Loved it!!!

The staff was amazing and super accommodating. Free daily breakfast a plus and can’t beat the location of the hotel. Right in the center of town — walking distance to all places.

Great place to stay in Coron. Our shower had a bit of problem draining and the AC didn’t fully cool down the room but overall was super clean, nice view of the bay, comfortable bed, and breakfast options (not a buffet). Thank you!

Perfect!

Everything was perfect. The rooms were vwry clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was nice. But the best part was the amazing staff, they helped us with everything and always with a smile, thanks so much!!

Overall it was ok. The room smelled like heavy raid when we checked in. They did give us another room for that night and placed a humidifier on the original room to make it better. It was just inconvenient. Also, there were a lot of ants. Other than that the staff were all very nice and the location was very accessible.

When we arrived we had booked a deluxe double which was a small room next to reception with no window. After speaking to reception they upgraded us to a first floor room with a balcony which was nice of them. The hotel is dated and needs a refurb. We were asked what time we wanted breakfast and we said 9am, at 8.40am we had a knock on the door to say it was ready, by the time we got upstairs to the restaurant at 8.50am the our egg on toast had been sitting on the table going cold for 10mins, a coffee was made for us and then they left. We booked 2 excursions at the hotel and waited an hour after arranged pick up time for both. Unfortunately only good thing was the friendly staff on reception.

Not what was expected

Front staff were friendly. Their English was a bit hit and miss, but that's what I expected. The location is close to the centre of town so could walk everywhere. There's a nice view from the rooftop. Note the property is uphill to most things in town. Breakfast you had to pre-order the night before. There were limited selections and it was always cold when we arrived, even if we were early. Tea/ instant coffee is always available, a sugary orange drink was available on one day with breakfast, other days there was no options (even if paid). It was also served at the rooftop which had no Aircon, but tons of windows and no air flow! There was a room with Aircon, but they never used it. Room was ok. Aircon had issues with keeping the room cold, even when we kept the blinds cold. There was no hot water ever time we tried to shower. There is a note at reception stating hot water is only provided via solar - so morning/ evening showers would be cold! The bathroom door didn't fit - it could open about 50% of the way due to a bad install and it scraped against the ground every time - I felt bad for our downstairs neighbours. We tried the pool - it was absolutely disgusting. It didn't look like they had cleaned it in months, water was murky and a blue colour rubbed off on our skin. There's a rooftop bar beside the pool, but never saw anyone there to serve drinks. There's isn't anywhere to laydown, which would have been nice. Personally, I wouldn't stay here again.

Staff was courteous and took you breakfast the night before. Good location in Coron. Room 205 had cold shower, window was covered up and AC didn't have remote control so you need to get up on chair to turn on/off. Street noise.

The staff were very kind but a little inattentive to cleanliness. We had to ask 3 times for the pool to be cleaned and did not appear to be chemically treated as the water was very murky. When I asked they said they clean it daily. We ended up cutting our stay short due to this and the lung infection I acquired from the AC in our room.
