"Restaurant had good food, pool was nice room was very clean, building very clean, building was surrounded by everything you need. Grocery stores Restaurants, banks all surrounded this Hotel. Staff was very friendly!"
"Cute little hotel In the heart of San Carlos. The rooftop lounge was a real treat. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I had breakfast delivered to my door each morning. The AC worked great and the beach was only a 10 minute walk away for a nice swim or some surfing. Would stay here again for the price. "

"Coronado Inn is one of the nicest stays in the area. The staff members are professional, welcoming and very patient. While their English is limited, and my Spanish nonexistent, we were able to communicate and understand each other. The rooms and towels were cleaned and refreshed daily. They also left folded "towel creatures" on the bed which provided a nice, soft touch. Also, the restaurant on the premises provides some delicious, upscale meals. I will be staying here when I return.
Let me just add, on our last day, when hubby and I didn't return as we had previously done six nights in a row, the staff called my cell phone to check on our well-being. I've NEVER had that happen before. I was appreciative and impressed by their thoughtfulness. Thank you! "
"I arrived very late and didnt stay very long. The place is old. The service and food was excellent. One temperature of shower water. I will stay there again when i stay for a few days in coronado. "
"In need of some getaway time, and an itch to explore a new country. The Bahia is the place - perfect locale in Gorgona. The complex is kept up to resort-like standards. Soft sand beaches, warm ocean, and views on views from the amazing deck. On-site staff is amazing. Don’t skip the beach bar, especially happy hour. If you want endless views, a constant breeze and a place to call home (away from home), stay here. It was just me and my wife, but the unit checks all the boxes when looking for a beach stay. Lots of friendly locals and expats, all willing to help out. Book it. You can thank me later. "
"We really enjoyed staying at Casa Swell. It has a wonderful vibe in a semi-rustic setting. There are a limited number of rooms around a lovely pool. Beside the pool is an ample shared area, no walls but under a roof, including a large shared kitchen. They do not offer meals except for breakfast but each room is assigned space in a fridge/freezer and a cupboard in the kitchen. It is well-equipped for cooking.
Everyone from "J" (the owner) and his family to other guests were friendly. He came to pick us up from the center of Coronado rather than have us bother with a taxi. Coronado is a small town and Casa Swell was able to hook us up with good information on places to eat, realtors to use, and other tricks of life there.
We liked it so much that when we decided to reduce our time elsewhere to focus on Coronado, I just called J and said, "Block a room!" It is not elegant or fancy, but if you want a small oasis to relax amid "friends", Casa Swell is an excellent option.
