Aransas Channel Dock & Fishing Pier on Harbor Island

Enjoy our newly constructed cottage and patio that faces beautiful Redfish Bay and South Bay.
Bay Dock Cottage has a patio deck, a boat dock, a 100’ fishing pier with lights, a patio and lots of parking. Our two bedroom 2 1/2 bath house sits next to the 14’ deep Aransas Channel. Shrimp boats and fishing boats use this waterway to navigate local bays as they make their way to and from the Gulf of America through the jetties. This is a family friendly property. We are located 3 miles east of Conn-Brown Harbor and 3 miles west of the Port A Ferry.

I could write an entire page on how happy we were with everything about this home ! The location,cleanliness , all the details. We stay at the coast often and no place has ever provided the items that these two did. From extra linens , spices for cooking , lots of toiletries, even a crab trap. You could literally pack a bag of clothes and nothing else and have everything you need here . The place was spotless , location quiet and great fishing . Easy access for kayaks to get in and out. This is definitely a place we will be returning again and again. Owners are next door and very friendly!! Love it

Family Getaway!

3 adults, 5 kids - before the first full day was over everyone was begging to make this an annual trip! The pictures don’t do it justice! Perfect location! Not only on the water, but close enough to the bigger places you can get there fairly quickly and easily without the business of the city! Accommodations were more than accommodating! I almost forgot! There’s a bait shop next door (we caught some and bought some!) and the kids and adults all caught fish! I would recommend staying here and it sounds like we’ll be back!

Great spot for a relaxing time

We enjoyed our stay at bay dock cottage. The views were amazing. We fished everyday and enjoyed catching plenty of fish. Dolphins swam by several times every day. If you are looking for a place not too far from the beach but prefer a little quieter vibe, this place is definitely it.

Relaxing fishing trip

The rental was clean and was well stocked. HEB is 5 mins away. The ferry is 2-3 mins away. We mainly went to fish and we caught plenty. Our host was sweet and responded to messages fast. Overall 10/10! We’ll definitely be back!

The Best Place to Stay

We came here for a family time with my wife, daughter, son in law and four grandchildren. Looking at the pictures in the listing we knew it was a really nice place, but pictures don't give the place all the credit it is. From the moment we arrived, there was much excitement what lay in store for us while staying here. The place was very well designed and furnished, the hosts were superb, and the weather was ideal. The fishing and crabbing on the pier was a blast. Sonny the host even shared some spec rigs with us and they worked very good fishing at night. We took a boat and the boat slip worked very good. The property is close to town so restaurants, and groceries are not far. The view was spectacular, I'm so glad I brought binoculars. We all agreed this was the best rental we have ever stayed in. Looking forward for the next time. Thanks again Sonny and Sue for opening this place for us.

Fantastic Place to stay!

This was by far, one of the most beautiful and cleanest rentals we have ever rented. The amenities provided were so much more than we anticipated. The hosts were so wonderful and accommodating. It truly felt like we were staying at a friend's home due to the overall atmosphere of the home and the hosts themselves. We will definitely book here again! We also had dolphins put on a spectacular show right in front of the dock! It was amazing!

We will DEFINITELY be back!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cottage and plan to definitely go back!!There was something for everyone…fishing on the dock, coffee and relaxing on the porch swing, we even saw dolphins swimming nearby, and my younger two enjoyed collecting sea shells. The location of this cottage is perfect for relaxing and the owners are incredibly sweet. They do such a great job making sure you feel welcomed from their cute decor to providing many basic necessities. This was one of the best little family getaways we have been on..I honestly just can’t say enough good things about it!

Charming, Cozy, Comfortable, Clean!

We came specifically to meet up with family, but I wanted someplace where my husband could fish as well. This was the perfect spot.While the weather wasn’t great, the house was beyond perfect. Completely comfortable, so cozy, extremely clean!, and charming. My daughter and I exclaimed several times how this is great, and that’s beautiful, and oh, I love that! The bedrooms and bathrooms are of nice size and there’s access to a washer/dryer, WiFi and tv. There’s isn’t an oven/range but there’s plenty of other cooking options, we utilized the electric frying pan frequently. We had no problems with anything.The owner, Sonny, chatted with about an injured duck and answered our questions and was just genuinely nice.Should we come back this way, I’ll stay, but only if we can stay here!

Beautiful Cottage On The Water

Stayed for roughly 2 weeks. Different weather conditions during stay but enjoyed them all. Lots of sea life (dolphins every day) and birds (herons etc) to watch from the dock or from the home. Was very clean and met all our needs. Hosts were great, helped me out late on a cold windy night when lost a key, came right over and unlocked for us.Also was nice being right at the ferry for Port Aransas.Would stay again.
