Stranded without support: A major letdown
I recently booked a stay at Unit 218, 14825 Windward Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78418 on May 31st to celebrate my birthday. When we arrived to check in after a long day at the beach, tired and wet, only to find out ourselves locked out of the property. The lockbox was not working to get the key. Several guest on the property said they had same problem with the lockbox. After sometime, we discovered that the property was already occupied. We tried to reach out to the property manager which by the way was also hard to reach and not very helpful. Just kept saying, the handyman is on the way but never came .My elderly parents were with us. After a long wait and to make matters worse, my father’s health suffered as a result of waiting outside in those conditions. This lack of communication and support left us stranded, disappointed and hurt especially since we had booked this stay to celebrate a a special occasion. The absence of any apology or assistance from management made the experience even worse.Communication and customer service are crucial especially in the hospitality industry, and my experience here fell drastically short of expectations.This was a disaster, one star feels like a compliment.If you’re looking for a worry- free stay. I would recommend exploring other options.
