Affectionately known as Seahorse Villa, this 3BR/3BA home in Lost Colony Villas offers inspiring Gulf views from the breezy observation deck. Highlights include an airy open-concept layout and a private downstairs apartment with a kitchenette.

The year-round pool and the beach boardwalk are steps from your door. Explore beautiful Mustang Island State Park in a short drive.

Please note that there are no stairs inside that lead from the main house to the downstairs apartment. An external stairway enables access between the two levels.

LIVING AREAS

Vaulted ceilings soar in the inviting living room. Two sofas offer plenty of seating in this sun-soaked space. Watch a film on the 50” TV after a fun-filled day at the beach.

On the first floor, the second living room has a comfy sofa and armchair, plus a 50” flat-screen TV.

KITCHEN & DINING

The spacious galley-style kitchen has a full suite of stainless steel appliances and gleaming granite countertops. Whip up favorite recipes with all the cookware and gadgets you need.

Three can keep the chef company at the granite kitchen bar. When it's time to eat, gather around the wood dining table for four.

Downstairs, the kitchenette features a full-size fridge and a wet bar.

BED & BATH

This two-story home accommodates six guests between the three bedrooms.

The tranquil primary suite has a king bed and direct access to a secluded area of the deck. The en-suite master bathroom is outfitted with a walk-in shower.

Downstairs, the ultra-private second bedroom has a queen bed. Guests in this bedroom have their own private entrance, kitchenette, and living room. The bathroom on this floor is equipped with a walk-in shower.

Back upstairs, the third bedroom has a queen bed and two roomy closets. The guest bathroom features a tub/shower combination.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Enjoy the Gulf breeze on the expansive wraparound deck. An array of outdoor furniture sets the scene for sunbathing, snacks in the shade, and taking in the Gulf view from the observation deck.

Driveway parking for four cars, a washer/dryer, and complimentary Wi-Fi are provided. This is a pet-friendly vacation rental.

The main house is accessible via a short flight of stairs. The downstairs apartment is ground-level. The two properties are separated by an exterior staircase.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). We loved staying at this property! The beach is a short walk away and the place was perfect for our family! I especially appreciated that there were 3 showers for our big family!

The home was very clean, the kitchen well stocked with adequate pots, pans and casserole dishes to prepare and serve traditional Thanksgiving dinner for our family. Practically new appliances! Apartment downstairs was nice for our son and girlfriend to have some quiet time. Small but efficient!

House has some plumbing issues but otherwise was not a bad place to stay. Upstairs has a couple soft spots in the floor. House was clean other than bugs(dead and alive). There were ants upstairs and a large roach. Mosquitoes were bad- thats hard to control tho and that was everywhere around Port A. Neighborhood was quiet. Pool was clean. Would stay again if plumbing didnt leak into downstairs.

Really a great experience overall There were a few issues that need to be addressed Needs a light by stairway Shame the sliding doors not operational Light not working over dinner table For elderly people more step by step instructions for TV. We really never got it working properly Maybe the bed downstairs needs updating Nothing really wrong just getting older

We had a good trip and the walk to the beach was easy. The kitchen was well-stocked and the overall space suited our needs well. The drawbacks were that the sliding glass door from the living room to the back deck was broken and despite a call to the property managers, when we were told that someone would stop by, no one ever did. This meant you could only get to the deck by going through the main bedroom or by going outside the front door and accessing that way. It didn't spoil the trip and the teens handled this easily but its something to know in case you need that deck. The other two things that were disappointing is that the upstairs unit has a really weird smell and some linens were covered in pet hair--we're not allergic but it was unexpected. But other than that we really did have a nice time.

This house has water damage and when we walked in, there was a strange smell throughout. The wood next to sliding doors is rotten and the bedroom French doors show wood that also looks water damaged. The wood in front of the kitchen counter sinks in a bit almost as if it is rotted as well. Sliding doors are almost impossible for one person to open (too hard to push open for elderly or kids). 2 of the 3 beds are very hard and pillows were cheap and made “plastic sound.” Highest decking at top had good partial view of ocean, however, when it was windy or 3 people were up there, it started rocking a little which made us uneasy being in it. Kitchen was mixed. Some pits / pans were rusty and door for utensils doesn’t open well (kept getting stuck). Vents were very dirty and we cleaned some of the windows because you could not see our well (maybe there was a stormy night prior and they just got soiled). Living and dining are great size and we really appreciated the space and number of seating options. Dining table was perfect for our 6 people party. Proximity / walk to beach is great and we liked that it was more of a family environment (vs. Spring Breakers). It is clear some remodeling was done and paint on some walls was fresh and pretty blue while other walls (bathroom) looked spotty / dirty. For the price, I would have expected something much nicer

Overall this was an amazing stay!!! Great spot away from the main towns and crowds. Pretty much the mid way point between Corpus Christi and Port Aransas and away from the crowds. Despite some minor, and I stress MINOR issues (generally cosmetic it is a house on a BEACH) this a great spot. Comfortable close wall to the beach snd quite.

Easy access to the beach, comfortable duplex type building with a separate unit downstairs with bedroom, bathroom/shower, living area and kitchenette. Upstairs 2 bedrooms and main living with numerous decks to enjoy the views. Very comfortable, quiet and safe environment, a gem 10 minutes from Port Aransas!
