"A brilliant construction and location in the stunning gorge location. Lovely room and large patio to enjoy breakfast alongside the roaring river. Parking was manageable at the roadside, and the lift ideal between floors. The owner and waitress were charming and informative, but we were both startled and disappointed at the continuing grumbles from the receptionist, especially when asked about messages that my daughter had sent there."

"We stayed at the Torra for 4 nights. The hotel was impeccable with many small details that we appreciated-coffee machine, beach towels, sun umbrella and loofa sponges. We booked last minute so it was quite expensive however for the area (remote and not close to anything). The personnel were great and responsive. "We loved our stay at Hôtel Le Surini, perfectly located by the water, the port, and the old Genoa tower. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with both a tub and shower, and those sunset views were unforgettable. We enjoyed the pool on hot afternoons. Each morning began with the smell of fresh croissants drifting up from below. We chose a room with a kitchenette, ideal for light meals and picnic prep before our daily adventures. The location is unbeatable, close to the Scandola Reserve (a must by boat!), the Tête de Chien hike, and the charming village of Ota for lunch. Highly recommend this peaceful and scenic stay! "
